よく釣りに出かけた会場から見上げます。宇部興産の輸送専用道路。 すごいですね・・・ よくテレビのCMでも使われているようです。 矢沢永吉さんの出ている車のコマーシャルはここで撮影されたと聞きました。 通ったことはありません（笑）

空港へ行くときに時間があったので見に行ってみました。トレーラートラックが４台ほど通過しました。私道というのが驚きです。

The private road that once belonged to Ube Industries, now known as UBE Mitsubishi Cement, is some 32km long and is the largest in Japan. This bridge is located on the approach to the Ube factory, so only those involved can use it.

宇部興産専用道路で、一般車両は立ち入ることができません。CMの撮影にもたびたび使われているようで、宇部の象徴ともいえます。

宇部興産㈱が石灰石を美祢市から大型車で輸送するために建設した専用私道の一部にあります。宇部興産から通行許可証をもらわないと通行はできません。工場見学ツアーなら通行可能です。この大橋は上り下りの傾斜がきつい橋です。外観を見る場合は、厚東川の岸辺の道路を海に向かって行きます。弓にように反った美しい大橋が望めます。
