松江歴史館見学後近くを通りました。歴史館のチケットを見せれば無料だそうですが、それを知らなかった為チケットは既にゴミの中。無料の所を改めてお金を払うこともばからしいと思いすぐに通りすぎました。

松江城を見学した後に立ち寄った。ホーランエンヤは12年に一度開催される城山稲荷神社（松江城跡にある神社）の式年神幸祭である。360年の歴史のある神事とのこと。日本三大船神事（宮島：菅絃祭、大阪：天神祭）の１つである。この伝承館はそのホーランエンヤの映像、資料などを展示している。隣接している松江歴史館の展示観覧者は無料である。観光は、JR松江駅、一畑電鉄松江しんじ湖温泉駅から徒歩でも可能な距離であるが、レンタサイクル、レイクラインバスをお薦めする。松江城跡、城山稲荷神社、松江歴史館と共に見学されたら如何でしょうか？

松江城山稲荷神社式年神幸祭と云われ、10年に1度大橋川を約１００隻の船が行列するお祭り。派手でしかも豪華な衣装を身に付けた人形がいくつも飾られていた。次回のホーランエンヤは2029年だそうです。

その衣装がけ見ればド派手で嫌味に見えるかもしれないけれど、若い衆が漕ぐ船の上で舞っている姿を見れば、これほど似合う衣装もないと納得します。主に写真展示館ですが映像もあり、10年に一度の神事であることが分かります。船の先頭付近で舞う女形の美しさは是非みて欲しいものです。ホーランエンヤとは船を漕ぐときの掛け声から派生したとありました

松江歴史館で入場券を購入すると「この入場券で隣のホーランエンヤ伝承館もはいれます」とのことで、その後に来ました。九州人としてはホーランエンヤ＝大分県豊後高田だったのですが、全国の同系列の祭りの地図があり、豊後高田もありました。小さな祭りに特化した博物館です。衣装やビデオで祭りの雰囲気はわかります。

ホーランエンヤは10年に一度の船の神事、大きなお祭りですが、ここで初めて知りました。歌舞伎のような派手な衣装や、神事に使う船などの展示、歴史、そして、そのお祭りの映像など、興味深く見学しました。

・外に出れば、実際に使われる1/2の大きさで複製された船が展示されている。

ホーランエンヤとは、城山稲荷神社の神霊を阿太加夜神社に送るという10年に一度行われる行事です。渡御祭、還御祭では大川と意宇川を舞台に豪華絢爛な大船行列が繰り広げられます。ここでは、その時の様子を写したビデオが上映され、使われた船などが展示されており、興味深く見学しました。

松江歴史館の裏にあり、松江歴史館に行くと無料で入館できます。ホーランエンヤとは日本三大舟祭りのことだそう 。館内のインフォメーションビデオもが興味を深めてくれます。
館内には1/2大の船の展示もあり、精巧にできていました。

開館８周年を記念した無料開放デーに初めて参観しました。今年は久し振りに５月に日本三大船行事のホーランエンヤが有るので楽しみです。今月末の３０と３１日の土日には隣接した松江歴史館と合わせてて無料開放デーまた有ります。
