頂上からの眺望は最高

枕木山は、松江市の中心部からは離れていますが、標高も高くなく、誰でも気軽に登れる山です。頂上からの眺めは、海も見えて、最高の眺めです。

絶景かな、絶景かな

枕木山に元あった蕎麦屋さんの横から見る景色は最高です。
大山がそびえる麓から弓状となった弓ヶ浜半島の全貌を望み、手元には中海、大根島を見る事ができます。
夜は大根島が要塞のように見え、また天体観測もバッチリです。

山道をのぼった絶景

松江市内から車で約15分でのぼり口につき、そこからくねった道を登っていきます。観光地というわけでもなく、さびしい雰囲気ですが、山の上から見る中海は絶景です。

華蔵寺で大山の絶景を一人占め！

枕木山へは松江市内から車で約３０分。頂上へ着く前に華蔵寺（けぞうじ）があります。
参道を登るとこんなところに不動尊像が・・・そして石垣が・・・境内に達した時点で達成感があるのですが、クライマックスはその先です。
天気が良ければ展望台から大山が一望出来ます！
ここまで来た甲斐があった！！
と思う瞬間です(^_-)-☆

中海が一望できる

学生の頃には麓から山頂までと縦走させられた思い出の山です。ただ今では行く際には車で駐車場まで上がり、山頂から麓の街の先に大根島と共に中海が一望できます。一時期は中海干拓反対とかで行く機会は多かったのですが最近は忘れた頃に誰かと寄る程度です。

景色がキレイでした

松江市内からは少し離れた場所にある山です。
松江まで車で行ったときに上ってみましたが、天気が良い日だったのでハイキングをされる方を多く見かけました。
山頂からは松江市の街並みや中海、大山の素晴らしい風景を一望できます。

松江近辺の夜景が一望できます

何年か前に行きましたが、ここから見える夜景はとてもきれいでした。
ただ、途中土砂崩れで工事中になっていましたが・・・今は道も整備されているかも
知れませんが。。。
あと、夜はあまり街頭などない山道を登ることになるのでお気をつけて。。^^

神話へのいざない

観光名所という大それた所ではありませんが、知る人ぞ知るという眺望の素晴らしい場所であります。眼下には中海、大山（伯耆富士）が見え、遠くに国引きの神話にもありますように弓が浜半島が確認できます。半世紀に渡る中海干拓事業で中海が農地になるということは避けられましたが、その名残は堤防として残っています。頂上には臨済宗南禅寺派の古刹松江城からの鬼門とされる方角に位置します「華蔵寺」があります。石段をひとつひとつ上りますと運慶作と言われる像や石堀の像が出迎えてくれます。樹齢何百年という杉木立の中に修行の寺が世間から隔離されたように存在し、静かに時間を刻んでいます。隠れた名所として私の胸の中にある場所です。
