街中のお寺

　岡山市街地の東山山ろくにあるお寺だ。周辺は住宅地で、道を歩いていると、境内が見えてくる。真言宗のお寺で岡山大空襲で多くの建築物を焼失。平成に入ってから再建を果たしたという。岡山城下の岡山三十三番札所、岡山市街地の岡山二十一カ所霊場だ。

境内のお地蔵さんが特徴的でした。

　　岡山電気軌道・東山線の終点、東山電停から徒歩で数分の場所にある真言宗御室派の寺院です。小高い場所に位置しており境内は全体に新しい建物と云った感じでした。そもそも岡山空襲で大半が消失し再建された寺院のようでした。境内に立つ大きなお地蔵さんが特徴的でした。
