Kurashiki Rickshaw Tour

3 reviews
Explore the old merchant town of Kurashiki at a slower, more authentic pace. Traveling by rickshaw, you’ll see the white-walled warehouses that were typical of the Edo Period — a time when the town prospered. Admire the tiny shops that line narrow streets, and head along a romantic canal path, framed by weeping willows. The start time, finish location, and duration are up to you.

We ended our day in Kurashiki at this place, but probably should have started it there. The staff seemed pleasant and ready to tell us anything we wanted about the historic part of the town. It is sited inside a big, old, wooden house on the canal-front. Maps and pictures of old Kurashiki inside and a fascinating model of a religious procession held once a year. We even had a chance to buy a mask like the ones used in the procession. Fun to look around.

The scenery to see from a ship advancing slowly is very beautiful. I recommend that I ride it together before sightseeing and do the reservation of the boat earlier. Reservation time is every 30 minutes From March to November / second Monday (is excluded on a holiday) It navigates only / Saturday and Sunday, celebration for from December to February. I am suspended for the year-end and New Year holidays Only as for the sale on that day 500 yen for adults child 250 yen
