It has old charms yet modern in what we are used to, if coming from the city. A real gem of a town to discover in the west coast of Japan.

Though it is near from the Toyama city downtown, it is recommended as old Japanese cityscape remains along the way. But you might be disappointing because there are not so many old houses and shops if you expect cityscape such as Kyoto.

This place is great as it has the most famous Japanese festival dance Bon odor. It is great to see the culture of Japan. And taste the super Japanese cuisine. I love this place and love the people. Perfect place to have a holiday.
