It was fun walking around and checked out the seafood products in the market. Then we enjoyed a delicious lunch upstairs at one of the many restaurants. Fresh and priced reasonable on our sashimi lunch. Huge portion for only 1800 Yen. We also bought some...More

We enjoyed the variety, and that you could buy everything in small portions, even a single oyster. Prices are moderate, and as we were afraid a special dish of sushi would be sold before our return, we paid it and the fishmonger kept it for...More

Cheap fish and good deal for lunch. There are many restaurants to choose from, just go to the one with many people - you can’t go wrong! They are good for maguro, fish tastes very fresh too!

One building contains the actual market with a few small restaurants. The second building closest to the bus and train station has two levels and the majority of the restaurants. The market sells mostly seafood. It is the cleanest fish market we have ever visited....More

This place is amazing. We didn't eat but walked around and looked at all the food and the amazing fresh fish being prepared for buying. It was a really incredible thing to see.

This place has many seafood restaurants. The local crowd is quite substantial despite it being in the late afternoon on a weekday. We ate some sashimi and fish jaw at one of the restaurant upstairs. The food was certainly very fresh and inexpensive! This market...More

Yes. There are restaurants with cooked food. The great place with the shinkansen delivering sushi even had fish and chips on the menu.
