It is located just across the JR station. Wonderful display and friendly service. We felt very welcomed by the museum workers. Nice gift shop. Will visit again.

The museum is on the 2nd floor of a building at the station. They offer special exhibits from time to time. We have visited there three times, when they had the exhibits of an artist we like. The place is not big at all, but good enough for one artist's exhibition. And they always have a shop for the artist... More

Many pottery pieces on display but too many modern works versus historical. Japanese nanny attendants in each room sit stiff in chairs all day. We were reprimanded for being too loud.

Exhibitions planned by the museum are attractive to the visitors. On the other day, I visited there with my son to see the goods of Tokugawa Shogun. It was Saturday and the museum permitted children to behave loudly. My son brought his fan with Tokugawa family mark. A staff of the museum blamed him because he had that fan so... More

First gallery in Japan to have been disappointed. Might have been the current exhibition. Maybe my expectations get too high!!
