結構な坂道です

国道１号下り線　道の駅の脇に登り口があって、結構な急坂を登ります。峠の頂上には富士山の見える場所があって、岡部側に下りきると、旧東海道の峠を再び登り→宇津ノ谷集落→スタート地点の道の駅まで戻る事ができます。約１時間半くらいの工程で、案内板なども整備されているので、ハイキングには良いコースですが、岡部側の石畳には歩き慣れた靴を準備した方が良いです。

ツタの細道公園がありました。

宇津ケ谷峠に行くには、ツタの細道公園に行くのが一番いいと思います。駐車場も完備されているのでそこに車を止めて旧東海道、宇津ケ谷峠を歩くと言うのいいですね！
昔のたたずまいが残る場所もありますよ～！今は、便利になったなあ～！と実感できると思います。公園内には、休憩小屋もあるのでひと休みができます。

つたの細道

旧東海道以前からある宇津ノ谷峠越えの道。文学にも登場しており、つたの細道とも呼ばれています。静岡側の入口は道の駅の横にあり、反対藤枝側まで１時間弱で越えることができます。

歩いて行くところです

一年に１～２回出かけています。国道1号線の宇津谷の道の駅から歩いていきます。急な昇り降りがあり、道が滑り易いところが多いので、雨の日や雨上がりはやめた方が良いです。景色は良くないです。

意外と普通の狭い道

言われてみれば、なんとなくわかるけど意外と普通の狭い道。明治のトンネルとか好きな人はいいのかもしれないが、わざわざ行くほどでもなかった
