We were going to go from Shimizu to Yaizu and then to Osuzube Coast, and we went to Mochisōdama. We took a short break at the port and bought dried fish at the sales office. It was just before noon, and I thought it was a meal, but as I was going to Kakegawa, I went to the entrance to Oozuse Coast, but it was closed, so I rushed back to the best in the country and went to Yaizu. Since it was a Bon festival, I thought the coastal road was the emptiest, but it was disappointing. Yaizu Fishing Cooperative is hungry and a tourist hotspot.

A really local place. But it is relaxed and friendly. Easy to get there on the local train. The beach is rocky so take beach sandals. LIfeguards and change rooms are available. Snacks nearby.

Small local fishing port where you can purchase those tiny white fish that Japanese love to add on top of their rice.
