2018/05/24 熱海金色夜叉銅像: 明治時期寫實派作家尾崎紅葉的小說「金色夜叉」的淒美愛情故事,「金色夜叉」銅像就是小說男女主角貫一與宮小姐。The famous Statue of Kanichi and Omiya located at the ocean front walkway In Atami. A story about a woman ‘blinded by diamonds’ and the well loved author who is seen kicking her away as she tries to repent her wrong doing.

The statue and surrounding grounds are uncharacteristic, in contrast to the amazing scenery it overlooks. Yet if you are passing by the area anyway, it is worth stopping by to read the explanatory signs, which are in English as well as Japanese.

This is a relatively small statue on road next to the beach in Atami and is a "must see" for all Japanese, many of whom will have read the associated book written at the end of the nineteenth century. It is a story of love...More

Kanichi and Omiya are the personages that appear in a famous novel named "Konjiki Yasha". This statue is a memory of that tragedy, but now few Japanese exactly knows that story.

Is according to comic book story. Atami at first famous of their owm onsen. However, after this story blow up big impact im newspaper for continuous of 5 1/2 years, Atami have become more famous and well-known.
