Great place to sample all the best sake in Japan, particularly from Niigata prefecture, which is considered some of the best. Make sure to sample the cucumbers with various salts in between snakes. It's fun, inexpensive and unique, you'll love it.

This is not a main branch but still fun to visit. 500 yen for 5 coins. There were so many many kinds of sake. There was a chart to guide popular choices. Wanna try them all but my body can’t tolerate that much alcohol. Don’t...More

We read so much about this before heading to Niigata, all true! Fun! Aside from free tasting at a sake manufacturer In town, this is the cheap and chic deal. Just randomly tasting local sake and miso as well. Love it!

We loved this place! A cheap way to try different sake in a fun environment. Although the descriptions were all in Japanese, we just picked 5 different sakes based on their location (there's a map that shows you) and they were all pretty tasty!

You are able to be tasting many kinds of Japanese Niigata local Sake. Get coins, put coins in the machines, and enjoy! Rice is absolutely delicious in the area. I should have brought extra rice ball. It wasn't triangle ball though.
