It’s so beautiful and nice place for hiking and mountain climbing. The water in the river was super clear and ice cold. It’s really a good place for chilling in summer. We were here only for a few hours. Not enough to cover the all...More

The view from Kappa bridge is definitely great and nice and it is very well accessible (just 5 min walk from Kamikochi bus station). However, if you’re not too hard on walking, it is recommendable to due the 2h return walk to Miyoji which will...More

We were lucky to have an almost clear day when we visited Kappa Bashi. The bridge is nothing to rave about but the view from the bridge is spectacular. We had a clear view of the mountains. It is a very popular spot for all...More

The bridge is nothing special in it self although you get a very pretty background with the mountains. Spend your time walking up and down the river for some great walks, fresh air and beautiful nature. Kamikochi is definitely a great one day trip from...More

Scenery on the bridge is spectacular. That’s why Kappa bridge is the signature spot of kamikochi. Must selfie on the bridge with mountain/ river background.

This bridge is part of Kamikochi National Park. It’s worth spending as many hours as you can spare walking round this Park. The ponds, bridges and mountains are glorious and an added bonus is seeing the wild monkeys up close in their natural environments

Kappa bridge is the starting point for a nice walk in nature. 3.5 KM to Myojin bridge on one side of the river and another 3.5 KM back on the other side with a nice short visit to Myojin pond. The trail is well organised....More

We visited this touristy bridge in Kamigochi national park in Fall. The crowd of tourists flocked on the bridge, so please go early in the morning to get best picture with checking weather in advance for sunshine. Nearby is hotel/resthouse and souvenirs, and snacks' shops.

Did the usual touristy thing and got photos and selfies on and near the bridge. A nice spot to sit and relax or walk around. The water running underneath it was quite amazing, absolutely crystal clear from the melting snow up in the mountains.

You can drive to park at the spot provided for boarding bus to the visitor center in Kamigochi. It's the nearest point to go to Nippon bashi.
