Omicho market sells a large number of marine products caught outside Ishikawa prefecture. However, Kanazawa iki-iki fish market sells fish, shellfish etc captured at the coast of Ishikawa prefecture. Sushi was very delicious.

Visited by free shuttle bus running between Kanazawa station and shopping mall, Apita. The bus leaves at station west exit every one hour starting at 9am and it was punctual. (Recommend checking exact bus stop location by asking people.) Station to shopping mall is 15 mins and takes another 15mins walk to the market. There is also public bus and it runs every an hour. Tour desk at Kanazawa station knows public bus timetable and where the bus stops are.
The market has around 10 small shops and sell mainly crabs but you can also get dried Himono fish, nuka-pickled fish etc. People can mail things they buy.
Kosei shokudo close to the market offers cheap but very local food!
A bit cheaper and more local than Omi matket.

Ordered a crab at the stall. They have a sitting/resting area for you to eat your crab or other purchases like sashimi. I did not really have chance to explore Omicho market but i thought this is a nice place to venture out of the city. About 10 mins walk away, near the busstop, there is also a very yummy sushi shop. Recommended by the kind driver who showed us the way
