We joined a small group being escorted around the market and were very grateful for the English translations! The food on display looked very tempting and we were encouraged to sample various goodies. The stall holders were obviously used to tourists and were keen to...More

Get the best if goods, fruits and food from this idyllic street market along side the pristinely clean waters of the town's canal. It's so clean that huge kois are in abundance in the waters of the canal, alongside ducks and even the odd crane....More

Dont expect a authentic market where actual farmers will bring their crops to sell . However take it as a good morning walk where tourist can sample/buy some of the food being sold there for breakfast .

Merchandise was displayed in a neat and efficient way. Merchants were not pushy. No trash in sight as is usual in Japan. Prices seemed to be fixed rather than bargained.
