An underground "city" with interesting shops and nice restaurants, Uni Mall has long walkways for you to browse through.

Nice basic layout. The repetitive Star Trek and Phantom of the Opera music is slightly annoying. A place like this works well during bad weather but the lack of natural light can take some getting used to.

This is one among many underground streets in downtown Nagoya. In contrast to the lively railway station, Unimall is somehow sleepy with not much to offer. It is more a passageway for locals.

We stayed in Royal Park Canvas, exit 10 above the mall. We have been here the whole time we stayed in Nagoya and very familiar with the eateries and restaurants in this mall. I can say prices of things and food along this mall is fairly reasonable and you can get good bargains. This mall is also flanked by 2 train stations and so is very accessible if you come for food. The restaurants are mostly in the centre area of the mall, and you can get good Teishoku restaurants, Cafes & coffees, Italian food, Izakayas and western grills.
A very good mall to visit as you exit the subway station.

In Uni Mall you will find anything from shoes to food to toys to make-up. In August they have an annual sale that makes place buzz with people.

It's a well laid out mall with plenty of restaurants and fast food chains. It's connected to the rail network and is a great bad weather visit.
