Cherry blossoms are beautiful all day long. Twilight walk on the riverside of Yamazaki river is recommended.

In my opinion, this is one of the best cherry blossom spots in Nagoya. I don't know if there's anything to do around this river outside of cherry blossom season, but during it, it's lovely: the river is lined with blossoms and there's plenty of places to sit down for a picnic. If you're not in the mood to sit, the river is quite long, so you can take a stroll for quite a ways. I didn't notice a lot of food options around it so I'd recommend packing your own lunch, but otherwise, enjoy!

Come visit this secluded place where the locals stroll along the river for a good view of the Sakura. The walk is just 10-15 minutes along the river but be prepared to spend an hour here soaking up the beauty, and where one can see lots of Cherry Blossom trees. This place is really worth a visit, and not far from station.

This is by far the most romantic cherry blossom spot that you can find during the season. This is a university town in a quiet suburbs, you will see children and old folks enjoying the walk along the river where both sides of the banks are dotted with beautiful cherry blossoms. There’s park benches, steps, Japanese wooden bridge surrounding the area, good place to soak in the spring air and photograph the graceful flowers.

About 10 minutes walk from subway station, easy to locate. Cherry blossoms on both sides of river in a quiet residential area.
