Tsuruma Park combines Western and Japanese components as do several parks in Japan. The formal flower beds, with tulips blooming and roses in bud, and the fountain tower are typical of what a Western garden looks like in Japan. The Japanese garden has ponds, bridges, walking paths and areas designed for strolling. Several sports facilities are located along the perimeter:... More

Originally, Tsuruma park is very big park in Nagoya, and for some people, there could be nothing to see. However, in April, there was very big cherry blossom(sakura) festival and many local Japanese people went there. Some places in the park are like club, but some places are you can spread a met and rest with your friends talking, drinking... More

Great park inside the busy city, nice walk and is great during spring time. They also have many festivals during the year.

After the release of Pokemon GO in Japan this summer, this park became famous for its water fountain of which shape is similar to Poke Ball viewed from the top. You can check Google Maps, type Tsuruma Park Nagoya and you get what I mean. When you visit the park and walk a bit to the fountain, you can see... More

Tsuruma park is located near JR Tsurumai Sta. This park is holy place for POKEMON GO! Player. Because this park's view from the sky looks like "Monster-Ball". I recommend this attraction.

Best park to see sakura at! It was so much fun to walk around and see everyone enjoying the season! It is such a good place to enjoy hanami! During the sakura season they have tons of food trucks and music! It was nice to see this side of Japan! It is a very beautiful park even when there isn't... More

Maybe it is the season when I visited the park. In my visit, the park is crowded with people, together with many stalls selling food. They all smell delicious, but it is very hard to walk around. The park is surprisingly large. It has very good signs about each path. Most paths in the park are easy walk. It is... More

The park is huge and is one of the popular places to view the cherry blossoms. Even though I was there during a weekday late morning, it was crowded with many locals having picnics and enjoying the cherry blossoms. As the weather was cooling with sunshine, it was nice to leisurely stroll in this park. There were some stalls selling... More
