Calm and spacious. Local people really tolerant and welcoming with tourists who want to take a look inside the mosque. Covering the head is obligatory for women to enter as well as taking off shoes for everyone.

While strolling along the Corniche don't bypass this 1970s mosque - probably the prettiest mosque in Aqaba. Nice building with a lot of attention to details, quiet atmosphere and perfectly maintained garden make it an ideal place to take a rest and soak in the overall atmosphere. It seems both the garden and the mosque are closed outside the prayer times. Be careful if using the toilet: I couldn't unlock the door without the help from the outside!

A beautiful modern mosque built to a traditional style with pleasant gardens and tall iron fencing.
We've tried to visit here on previous occasions. However, the Mosque's rules require women to wear a headcovering obtained from the guard on the entrance, Regretaby on out 3 visits, no guard was present so we didn't enter the temple.

We tried three times to visit but the guard was not much helpful. in the end we didi it. They gave us womens outfit in order to enter. It is smaller inside than it looks. also nicer outside than the inside. It is located in a central area, so you may spend 15 minutes to see it, but dont expect much

I was really excited to see this mosque because the architecture and geometry looked beautiful.

When we first arrived, all the gates were shut. The visitors centre told us to go at 2.30PM. We came back and waited for prayers to finish before we went in. A man came out of the mosque and told us we HAD to have a guide which would be 5 dinas per person. We said we would prefer to explore ourselves but he said we still had to pay, so we did. He left shortly afterwards and we had about five minutes in the mosque before a security guard hurried us out in Arabic.

A simple sign saying when you can visit and whether you need to pay would be really useful as this spoiled the experience of a beautiful place.

It is a great example of Islamic architecture, interior and exterior design. Close to other attractions. A must see.

This mosque is relatively close to the main beach area of Aqaba, and is also close to the historical discoveries in Aqaba. The mosque is absolutely stunning, and we were honoured to have been here. It wouldve been even better had we had the time to pray here.
