In 1964 Ahmed Qatawneh became the first Jordanian diver and in 1975 he became the first Jordanian Diving Instructor. In 1998 he established the Aqaba International Dive Center. Now in the hands of his son Mohamed we have a family run Dive Center offering diving courses to certify beginners as well as higher certification levels of PADI & SSI. We are still one of the best Dive Centers in Aqaba guiding and supervising certified and non-certified divers to the best dive sites that Aqaba has to offer. Our priority is to provide fun filled dives with above all strict safety precursors. Your money is not our main goal, it is your wide smile at the end of our dives together which is what we love to see. Our prices are always acceptable and suitable for all standards of a diver’s budget. We invite you to come and dive in one of the longest running Dive Centers in Aqaba and write on this website about your wonderful experiences in our humble Dive Centre. We hope to see you soon and we wish you a beautiful stay in Aqaba!

They took hardly no time in replying on email when I asked any questions. Very efficient. Value for money definitely. They were on time when they picked me up to go to the center. They have all the equipment you need: hood if you are cold, and booties. Long suits, short suits, 5mm, 3mm,.. The team speaks italian, french, spanish,... More

My wife and me did a dive with a friend. The owner took us to the Cedar Pride. We had a nice and long dive and the wreck is amazing. It is a very nice dive center and the owner is a great guy! We will be back soon.

Mohammed and Paolo did an amazing job of calming the two of us fairly nervous divers and offering us a really personalised experience making sure the more experienced divers still had a great time too. The dive sites are awesome and going in from the shore means you can take it slow while still seeing some amazing stuff by the... More

Coming straight from the Wadi Rum, hardly arrived in Aqaba we found this diving club. We're complete beginners. First dive yesterday, excellent, we decided to do it again today. Both were great experience. Price is cheap, instructors are greats, material is working, I recommend !

When I arrived in Aqaba I knew I wanted to go diving and also attempt to persuade my friend who was a non-diver to try it. I knew this wasn’t going to be an easy task as my friend was adamant she was going to stick to snorkelling. After reviewing several entries on dive centres from trip advisor and actually... More

The kit for rent was really good and they don't take such a large group that the dive masters/guides cant cope. We did 2 dives, both were a walk off the beach. The first was to the purposefully sunk Cedar Pride and the Japanese Gardens reef dive. The dives were excellent and the variety of fish were amazing. Saw my... More
