The moment we entered Deep Blue Dive Center we could feel the welcoming atmosphere. It is located in Tala bay which has a great beachy feel. Everyone is very patient with beginners and overall makes us feel safe. My family and I did multiple dives with them including 2 courses and more to come! The center itself is located in a very kid’s friendly environment on the beach where there are many more activities except for diving. Deep Blue Dive Center is also very green (eco-friendly). They regularly do “clean up dives” where divers that are interested can go to a specific dive site and not only look at the amazing wrecks and reefs but also clean up the trash that can be found. This is a great way to incorporate helping the planet into something fun like diving. They also offer private boat trips with a boat of your choice and have amazing prices and deals. For people that are not interested in diving, they also offer snorkeling trips and equipment. Overall I 100% recommend this dive center.

We went on a 2 dive boat trip with lunch included.
Our instructor
Our dive master was Abdullah who was incredible! He was so kind and patient with us. We were 3 women - my sister who is an expert PADI diver, my mum who has her PADI certification but is a little nervous, and lastly me. I have done a few dives but I am not certified. We were all different levels and he ensured all of us were well informed, comfortable and constantly checked on us all throughout our dive. He pointed out different fish, coral and guiding us to the most beautiful parts. When my sisters go pro broke he borrowed their crew one to help us capture the moment! I would not hesitate to recommend Abdullah as your dive master!
Dives
For our first dive we went to the shipwreck and the second we went to the tank and plane. The shipwreck was really interesting with lots of coral and fish but the plane and tank are a little newer and aren't as established yet. However the coral and diversity of fish in Aqaba is incredible and you can see why it's called the red sea!
Boat
This is the nicest dive boat any of us have ever been on! It's practically brand new and the crew kept it beautifully maintained. Cleanest boat toilets I have ever seen!
Food and drink
The lunch they served was delicious! Fresh salads and pasta with tasty chicken and bread. I would pay good money to eat this food on its own and it was incredible that it came as part of the package. There was water, tea and coffee available at all times and soft drinks available with lunch.
Overall
10/10 - we would thoroughly recommend Deep Blue Dive Centre in Aqaba and only wish we had more days here to enjoy some more dives. Incredible value for money and an incredible experience. Thank you so much to the wonderful captain, who spotted some pilot whales and allowed us plenty of time to watch them slowly glide past our boat! He was truly wonderful and even showed my mum (a budding skipper!) His charts, controls and the engine. Truly kind hearted and lovely crew and a wonderful day! Also big shout out to the lovely Nejla who took our booking and helped get our dive book signed.

I earned my PADI Open Water Diver certification through Deep Blue Dive Center, and I must say the experience was excellent. The instructors are very patient, explain clearly, and take their time in ensuring you master the required skills. The center also has a friendly, warm, and welcoming diving community. I highly recommend diving with Deep Blue; they are simply the best!

I've dove all over the world. I always research & pick the best dive center. I picked Deep Blue on the recommendation of divers that live in Aqaba & have dove with many of the local companies. Even though Deep Blue is located in Tala Bay resort, they will pick you up wherever you stay in town. But if you're staying in Tala Bay, they are conveniently located at the Tala Bay Marina. I found that their prices were very reasonable. Their equipment was good quality. There are two things that set Deep Blue apart from all others:
1. Their friendliness makes you quickly feel at home and is if you are part of their family. It's pleasant to hang out even after your dive is over.
2. Their service is fabulous because of their attention to details that make for a relaxing and more comfortable experience. I appreciated the way they did everything for me - set up my equipment, carried it to/from the beach or boat, etc. They required me to double check my equipment to insure it was done properly. Two of the four dive masters took off my fins, BCD, and tank before I even left the water. So I could easily walk or climb out without all the weight of the equipment. This is the first time anyone has ever done this for me and it made a HUGE difference on my body! After several days of diving I was less sore and my lower back wasn't tender and bruised.
I have recommended several other people to Deep Blue and they have all had great experiences too. I will be back!

Today was one of the best diving experiences of my diving career! Not only were the sites and visibility incredible, the care and professionalism of Mohammed and his staff was well above any previous experiences that I have encountered on dive boats before. After a miserable COVID/pandemic diving break, this was exactly what I needed to get back into my diving life. The personalized treatment to ensure my safety after such a long break from diving, made me feel safe and refreshed in my skills and knowledge. Adding to this wonderous day, I was able to dive some super cool wrecks, I saw an octopus, stonefish, an array of colorful coral and fish, and a first for me, striped eel catfish, rolling in a ball! I can't recommend this dive center enough, not to mention the location is ideal for post dive relaxation and drinks.

We started with a boat trip including a refresher dive. The dive master (Mina) was a great instructor, very friendly and made us feel super comfortable. All staff on the boat are focused on making your trip as pleasant and comfortable possible.
We got excited and asked for an Open Water course for our son. Although we only had 3 days and did not plan for the course, the team made it possible. On our last day in Aqaba we could enjoy our first dive as a family. Very grateful for the experience.
I highly recommend the Deep Blue Dive Center - their passion to provide you with an unforgettable experience is remarkable.
We got excited and asked for an Open Water course for our son. Although we only had 3 days and did not plan for the course, the team made it possible. On our last day in Aqaba we could enjoy our first dive as a family. Very grateful for the experience.

There is a good reason why Deep Blue has a 5 star rating, and that is because it is totally 5 stars! Like me, you will probably spend many hours researching different schools in and around the Aqaba and Tala Bay area, before finally concluding that Deep Blue looks the safest and most professional centre, with its excellent underwater photography and frequent interactions on social media. When you arrive, everything lives up to expectations and beyond. All of the staff are so friendly, warm and approachable. All of the Instructors are Dive Masters, trained in house by the owner, with a breadth of knowledge and experience between them, and always prioritise safety as their NUMBER ONE priority. The boat and equipment is exceptionally well maintained. The food is equisite. The dive sites are second to none.
*TOP TIP* If you're considering diving in Jordan, or anywhere within a 1000km radius in fact, I wouldn't waste your time looking anywhere else other than Deep Blue! Send Mohammed a WhatsApp message, and he and the rest of the team will do everything they can to give you the best diving experience you could ever hope for!
I rarely commit to returning to the same destination twice as there are so many places in the world to visit. However, I have already booked to return in 3 months time, and hope to make this a regular destination for many years to come.

Nicest dive boat I have ever been on. Top notch equipment and facilities on the boat. My dive master was Abdallah S. Al Azab - PADI No. 394305. He was extremely knowledgeable about the local sites and did an exceptional job of briefing us before the dive and making sure we were all set with our gear. He guided us on incredible dives and he really took his time to point out cool sea life including stone fish, scorpion fish and many others. He had a really good eye for catching secretive sea life and getting everyone a chance to see which made the dives even better. I would highly recommend diving with Abdallah as he was an awesome guide and made me feel like a friend!

The staff is exceptional, they went out of their way to make the most of our dives. I highly recommend this dive center as an experienced diver with more than 200 dives. It was safe and fun all the way. Thank you again for the great experience.

16 years after our last dive, we cannot imagine a better diving experience than the one offered by Deep Blue. The whole team is very welcoming, friendly and professional and we felt very confortable from the beginning. My husband and me did a refresher course from shore and our kids (11 & 13) did a test dive. Our son could not equalise but this was no problem for him having a great experience under -shallow- water. He will definitely try again specially after hearing the experiences of his sister who did her PADI open water junior in 3 days. Bilal was a great instructor and she felt very confortable during the course.
On our last day we went on a boat trip with 2 dives (Cedar Pride with afterwards snorkelling in Japanese garden and the airplane, 7 sisters and the tank). The trip was amazing and we are looking forward to come back soon to enjoy more of the wonderful underwater world at the Red Sea.
