while somewhat adjacent to a unique waterway, this trail has its problems, one of which is being a bit too close to a highway not always carefully driven

The trail is partially on paths and roads. The roads don't always have good shoulders so we usually stick to the sections with better roads. The trail can be almost deserted in spots so it is important to be careful of your surroundings and use in pairs.

Paved and dirt trails so you can use a wheel chair in many places. Clean and very safe feeling; the views of the river are nice and there is places you can walk into to sit and watch nature.

Excellent trail. A lot of history and the price is right..free. Bring snacks and water as they are not many places to buy items. The scenery is awesome.
