The museum itself is a piece of Zambian history. It's well worth a visit. The section on David Livingstone is really interesting and the display on recent history up to Independence well worth looking at.

Nicely displayed... you need a couple of hours to take it all in. I would go back again. It is close to Jolly Boys hotel less than a 5 minuet walk.

My husband and I really enjoyed walking around the museum and found it very informative. We did not realise how popular David Livingstone is in Zambia

The Livingstone Museum has a natural history museum inside, as well as exhibits on the social, cultural, and political history of the area; the signage and explanations are great, and the personal letters of David Livingstone are really well-preserved. Nice way to spend a couple...More
