Description:

Livingstone Reptile Park boasts a collection of Livingstone’s most...

Livingstone Reptile Park boasts a collection of Livingstone’s most notorious reptiles. Our crocodiles have been rescued from the Zambezi River where they were posing a danger to both humans and themselves. Gwembe Safaris were asked to capture these animals to prevent any further threat to people or their livestock. Had we not done so they could have been destroyed. Getting close to these animals never ceases to invoke feelings of fascination, respect and fear.

From tortoises to snakes and baby crocodiles with really big crocodiles inbetween.

Great to see these reptiles in this sanctuary. A vry impressive collection of crocodiles and snakes. The 80 year old male crocodile and the Gabion adders is a must see. Very informative guide. Keep up the good work.

This was described on the leaflet provided with our trip as a crocodile farm so we were expecting to see crocs bred and raised for the meat and skin market. We were collected from the hotel by Morgan our guide and taken to the park. It is not a farm in fact it is a sanctuary for nuisance crocs. If... More

A very educative tour especially for the children who got the chance to hold baby crocodiles and tortoises. The guides were knowledgeable, patient and listened carefully especially to the children as they asked question upon question. A very well organised tour as it coincided with crocodiles feeding time - a must see event as the crocs are only fed once... More

Good place to visit with small children, as they get to see the crocs up close, as in the game drives or boats, they are a little too far away. Good collection of snakes as well, and you can hold a baby croc too.

Small park with fascinating crocs. An aboundance of brightly yellow colourful birds with hundreds of cool nests in the trees surronding the ponds with crocs are also a beautiful contrast. The guided tour is short, my estimate is 45 min. A bit overpriced, but a lot of activities in Livingstone/Victoria falls is aming to extract dollars from tourists.

It was far more interesting and less 'touristy' than we thought it would be thanks to our guide, Morgan, who really explained everything very clearly. It was the first time we had ever seen an Albino Crocodile. Not for the squeamish.

We visited this site to fill a free afternoon. It was interesting to see all of the crocodiles and snakes; however, the tour cost about $15 per person, which is a bit high when you consider the fact that it lasted less than an hour.

This was our last activity in Livingstone and we went on a morning tour after we checked out of the hotel. The tour only takes about an hour to do and see everything. We paid extra for "food" so our guide could show us how he fed the big ones and this was WELL WORTH IT. It was only 100... More
