Maano Adventures is a locally Zambian owned White Water Rafting company operating in Livingstone, the tourist capital of Zambia. Although we appreciate that we have been operating for 4 years, we boast of remarkable experience on the river. Our guides and safety kayakers have been rafting on the Zambezi for more than 10 years now and their glamorous CVs include working for some of the big companies here on Zambezi . We know the river left, right and centre and your safety has been at the centre of all our operations. We specialize in the following activities: - River Rafting & Tubing - Canoeing - Kayaking - River boarding - Multiple days Trips along the Zambezi river. We also assist in booking other activities in Livingstone: transfer and accommodation and safaris to Mosi oa Tunya National Park and to Chobe National Park in Botswana in day trips or multiday camping safaris.

I booked the Half Day White Water Rafting on the Zambezi starting from 11am. ( rapids from 14 until 25 if I am not mistaken)The professional guidance from start ( pick-up at hotel) to finish ( both during the rafting as drop off at the hotel) was really great. Very experienced captain and team members that took safety very seriously and were informative and entertaining at the same time. I was also surprised how many staff members supported us during the rafting. Also the activity itself is worth doing it! Would recommend this tour company.

How can I add the 6th star?Rafting with Maano Adventures was a magical adventure! I did the one day tour with them and I couldn't have made a better choice. Our guides were incredible: they were able to make us live a super adrenaline experience but they had the ability to make us feel safe all the time with their professionalism and experience. They have perfect knowledge of the river and what could have happened, so they know how to guide you and know exactly what to do at all times. Each rapid was explained to us in detail: name of the rapid and classification, what we should do, what the risks were, what the difficulties, making waiting for each rapid exciting. We also swam in the current of the river that carried us and it was so much fun. The crew knows very well how to put you at ease and reassure you if you feel nervous, which I think is a very important point to enjoy the whole experience. All seasoned with joy, humor and laughter to ease the tension and create a team spirit!
Lunch was a very pleasant moment to be all together with our feet on the ground and relax for the second part of the adventure. Ended on a wonderful beach and with an enjoyable hike. On the way back we went through some villages, they explained us many things, it was very interesting. They also spoiled us with cold drinks and fruit. I was very impressed by the teamwork, the group works to make everything work perfectly and I really appreciated the fact that they know how to be attentive to the individual participants and their needs. Careful loving attention to details.

Pc and team have really helped us to ease our anxiety prior to rafting. There was a professional briefing as 2 of our team not rated before. On the day itself. There is on time pick up, very good safety briefing in view of beginners, and guide pc was really funny and professional. Safety kayak was very good as well. We jumped into water and floated down just enjoying the view. When we wanted to avoid some big rapids for beginners, pc was able to take a safe route, guaranteeing no flip. But I'm sure they can do make it a carnage as well as pc always say, but he asks us each time which route we want. And was able to reassure the group. We all would love to come back again!

Wonderful experience! Not only was it an amazing rafting trip, the hosts of the trip were great.
It turned out to be a solo trip for me (a female) as no one else joined. I felt completely safe throughout the whole journey. The group from the company is completely experienced with knowledge of the river and very professional
I would ten out of ten go again and try to do a longer venture next time.

We were lucky enough to do the 2 day/1 night white water rafting trip. Everything about it exceeded our expectations. This was our second time rafting on the Zambezi, and was the best rafting experience we have ever had. The team who guided us on the trip were all so friendly, highly skilled, and accommodating to all our requests. James and Andrew were amazing guides, Clement and T-Boy did a great job, taking turns in scouting out the best passage over the rapids and taking amazing photos and video, which were emailed to us a few days after completing the trip. Chef Mike cooked us a delicious dinner and breakfast over a wood fire at our camping spot for the night. We will certainly be back!

I inquired about joining a rafting half day tour. The response was very fast and polite, and I decided to go with this company because I could trust them. The guide and other staff were friendly and helpful from start to finish. My English skills are poor and I have little experience with rafting, so I was very nervous. However, the guide explained things carefully and always took care of me, so my anxiety was relieved.
The Zambezi River is famous for its rapids, but the staff's teamwork was excellent and the guide was well-managed, so there was no danger and I was able to enjoy myself very much. We also received many free photos and videos.
It was a special and wonderful experience.
I highly recommend this company. Thank you very much!!!

Great trip, guides were experienced and made us feel safe and confident through the rapids. Perfect conditions, very exciting rapids, safe conditions, enough to swim at times.

We had an incredible half day experience with the white river rafting on “The Mighty Zambezi River”.
James and his team did a phenomenal job at keeping us safe while giving us the full adrenaline experience (and arm workout).
Every part of the experience with Maano was just so smooth and effortless.
Enock assisted me with the booking and was incredible with giving updates throughout.
I booked all my transport and activities (bungee jumping and River Rafting) through Maano Adventures. It was the most stress-free weekend with Enock and his team taking care of all the organising.
Will most definite recommend this professional team for any memorable Zimbabwe/ Zambezi trip.
James and his team did a phenomenal job at keeping us safe while giving us the full adrenaline experience (and arm workout).

We booked the two day/ overnight rafting adventure. We highly recommend that you camp overnight for at least one night to get the full exciting rapids/zambesi experience. Thanks to our crew - james, clemente, t, and co for showing us an unforgettable victoria falls experience.

We had a half day rafting in the Zambezi river.
Inuk took care of everything, guided us, was very responsive and positive.
The team was huge, taking care of safety, photos, answering with jokes anything we wanted and the athmosphere was excellent from beginning to end.
The river was challenging and the experience amazing. 3 rapid level 5. We did not flip. Thanks to professional work by the team.
Highly recommended!
