Exceptional Da Nang-Hoi An 8D7N guided tour and shuttle, 10/10 will avail again

We laid up a base itinerary spread across (approximately) a week, and David was extremely quick to suggest additions and add specifics to each activity. At first, I was merely thinking of commissioning a tour for a day or two, but his quick feedback, spacious car service, private guide, good price (with a downpayment over an online portal for credit card), and other reviews immediately sold us to avail of their services for our entire trip. We booked the hotels ourselves due to having Agoda perks.

David would also check in from time to time for updates and also helped when we encountered an issue with our connecting flight (though they're not the ones who booked flights, but ourselves).

Speaking of our guide, we got Katie who is amazing! We've had many tours and guides across the years, and she is easily one of the best we've ever experienced. Extremely experienced, incredibly quick on her feet, and knows Da Nang and Hoi An like the back of her hand. Not to mention, she knows exactly where to take the right photos. Her contribution to our appreciation to these places and the local food cannot be understated. We also ask her for shopping advice. I highly recommend a walking or biking food tour with her too as she changes the itinerary based on what we've already tried on the fly (my eyes have also been opened to the wonder of Bun Bo Hue, which is only sold as a strange mutation of itself where I live). But if you're not down to try the super local street spots or stalls, she should be able to adjust accordingly too. David also asks for allergies way in advance; we don't have any so I cannot say how well they take it into account, but I imagine they would tailor it (seeing as they have a halal tour).

A point of improvement for me, is to perhaps have a mic lapel setup at the ready. It doesn't have to be used in every place, but perhaps in some busier places (like Hoi An at night), it might help people who are harder of hearing.

I think I'm in love with Central Vietnam; and the weather there in December certainly helped. Regardless of the season, I wouldn't hesitate to avail of Vietnam Shore Experiences when I'm back. And I'm certain I will be back.

Vietnam Trip-03/06-03/15 2023
First of all I would like to thank David Nguyen for all his assistance and help that he have given us on our trip.  Without his guidance, we would never have experienced the great places. I contacted David and I told him all the highlights I want to see in Vietnam and he worked on my wishlist.
Our Vietnam tour was a memorable, enjoyable and fun tour, thanks to our tour guides Thong and most specially to David Nguyen and our drivers Tuan and whe. We started off in Hanoi with our tour guide Thong, he took us to Sepa, the village Halong bay and cable car ride to a very high mountain (very scary for me I hate heights). Thong is very knowledgeable about the history of Vietnam and most of all he know good places to eat. If you’re in Sepa make sure you try hot pot and if he’s your tour guide he will brake you to hot pot.
We flew out of Hanoi to Danang where we met up with David Nguyen with the same tour company. David was also very knowledgeable with the history of Vietnam. He took us to to the golden bridge and Ba Na Hills in Hoi an and took many pictures of us the scene was amazing. We also requested for a side tour to see the dragon bridge at night to see the dragon blow out fire. We also requested to see the night market where ate seafood at a very cheap price. The night market was the highlight of the side tour, my husband loved the night market. David did an an excellent job making sure all we have a wonderful time.
I highly recommend Vietnam shore excursion for your tour in Vietnam. It was a pleasure meeting you, we hope our paths cross again soon.

Best time ever!! Mekong Delta 1 day tour

Massive shout out to Hai our tour guide what a beautiful personal experience along the Mekong Delta doing the 1 day tour. The food was amazing Hai gave us so much information spoke really good English. Highly recommend thanks so much Hai we even got to finish the day off with the best foot spa I have ever experienced. We booked this tour very last minute late at night yet it was still well organised for the morning, well done Dave. And again thanks Hai you were amazing great memories. Our guide Hai took photos of us throughout the day which made it even more wonderful. #ilovevietnam

Amazing Vietnam

We had 2 wonderful weeks in Vietnam, starting in the North, to Mid and finishing in Saigon, south of Vietnam.
We booked the entire package via Vietnam Shore Excursions (David) and we received excellent service. The service includes the entry visa, transportation, hotel booking, flights, guides, entry fees etc...
We could not asked more. Highly recommending to use Vietnam Shore Excursions service if you want to free your mind from any worries during your stay in Vietnam.

Great Vietnam War tour

I have a keen interest in the Vietnam war and it was fantastic to have David as our tour guide. His knowledge of the war was complete and I enjoyed learning a few points from him that I never knew. David took us to the sacred Hamburger Hill in the A Shau valley, a must for all those interested in the war. We hiked up the hill and saw things I never dreamed of. The transportation was comfortable and David’s perspective on things was insightful. I highly recommend him as your guide

Great food tour for families

We did the Hoi An street food tour and it was excellent. Customised to where we were staying so that we didn’t have to walk too far. We have an 8 year old child and it was a perfect timeframe for her. Yummy food and great English speaking tour guide. Highly recommend this tour.

DMZ and Hue Day Tour

My husband and I were seeking a tour that took us into the DMZ of the Vietnam War era, and also to see the Vinh Moc tunnels; David got us there and much more. Our ship was docked in Chan May Bay between DaNang and Hue, so he and our driver Tom obligingly transported us 3 hours to get to the sights we were looking for. Along the way we saw the agrarian side of Vietnam.... farmers working in their rice paddies, cassava fields, peanuts, cashews and bananas, and shrimp farms on the ocean side. We passed through many small country villages and absorbed the simplicity of life in the farming villages of Vietnam.
We stopped for a sample of the amazing Vietnam coffee, so delicious!!
We also paid a visit to the skeletal remains of the bombed Catholic Church, Long Hung, which stands through time as a war memorial.
We saw a lot of beautiful coastline of the East Vietnam Sea, which we had mistakenly been calling the South China Sea. All through the drive David shared the area’s history, and current life of the people of central Vietnam, exactly what we were wanting.

We arrived at the Vinh Moc tunnels and trenches, and David filled us in on that amazing engineering feat, and the history of the people’s years of sheltering there as we climbed deep down into the tunnels. Also still visible are craters from bombs that were dropped there.

At the DMZ, we walked the bridge over the Ben Hai River at the 17th Parallel, the dividing line between the North and South, and discussed the photos and artifacts in the visitor center/ museum there.

David then took us to our meal in a local restaurant that served us traditional family-style, and it was one of the tastiest meals of our trip.... so good! David took many photos of us to document our visit, and kept us well supplied with ice-cold water, and cold towelettes as the day was hot.
Our driver Tom was the best, always safe and very smooth operation. We appreciated him very much.
We cannot say enough good things about David and the tour he designed for us, it was perfect for us. Thank you very much, David and Tom.

Da Nang done right!
We had a wonderful time and great tour by David. He really knows Vietnam and I would
recommend any of his tours. David made sure that we were always comfortable (nice new van) cold water, wet towels etc. David is the king of cutting queues but you have to stay close. We visited the wonderful and very crowded Bana Hills. Couldn’t have done it without this guide. A+

Shore Excursion from Chan May Port, DaNang to Hue

After researching tour companies for our stop in Da Nang I chose David Nguyen for a private organized tour to Hue. I had a group of 20 and chose to have 2 vans of 10, each with their own driver & English speaking guide. After taking the Dragon boat ride on the Perfume River we visited the Imperial citadel of Hue, Thien Mu Pagoda, Dong Ba market, and Ming Mang Tomb. Since this was a full day tour lunch at a fabulous restaurant was included. Our guides Mr. Thuan & Mr. Phong were both knowledgeable & flexible. We were picked up and returned to the port at the agreed upon times. This tour was enjoyed by all members of my group & I would not hesitate booking with David again.
