If you enjoy waves like I do, this beach is for you. It was a total surprise for me as I expected just a calm water a bit boring beach. But, I was totally impressed with the waves. I could come back to Da Nang...More

As far as I am aware, the 'no swimming zones' are more prevalent at this time of year due to weather conditions, which result in large amounts of debris and more importantly, 'under tows' or 'rip currents' and I certainly noticed the latter off My Khe beach on my visit in September. The tides also create 'hidden gullies' which can suddenly put you out of your depth. Hopefully the areas will become less prevalent as the seasons change, but in the meantime, rely on the lifeguards.
