Having been looking at the Lady Buddha from our hotel across the bay we decided to make a visit. We got a Grab which was just as well as I wouldn't fancy walking there in the heat and up a pretty steep slope. The entire complex is super impressive. I would recommend resisting the temptation to head straight for the Lady Buddha, which many seemed unable to do, as there are several other buildings and small gardens in the complex before you get to her that are really worth investigating. The treasures these buildings contain are amazing. Although the car park was full of coaches and taxis, there were relatively few people investigating these buildings. There are extensive gardens beyond the Lady Buddha which are worth investigating, but again, very few people appeared to be doing so. There are a number of kiosks selling very welcome cold drinks and ice creams, some recycling points for the plastics bottles and some public toilets. Finally, be careful of the monkeys, we saw two. There are numerous signs advising people to take care and asking not to feed the wildlife but, some people were feeding them. They might look cute, but I wouldn't want to get bitten by one in a selfie.

Danang's hidden jewel, Chùa LinhỨng, is an unforgettable attraction on your Danang Trips. Euphoria is an important site of Vietnamese Buddhism, where various Buddhist heritage and beautiful natural landscapes combine. The temple is located within a 10-minute drive from the city centre of Danang. One of the most notable features of the brand is the 67-metre-high duty noise sniper. This is one of the biggest illusions in Vietnam, and it's impressive as it stands facing the sea.

Located in the northern stretch of Danang coastline, this is a beautiful place to visit in the morning. The adjacent temple complex is spik and span and curated with wonderful bonsai plants and flowers. The view of the Danang city skyline along the coast from the top is absolutely breathtaking. There are refreshment area and facilities for elderly people. There is a beautiful Japanese garden down below which is also worthwhile to visit.

We visited Lady Buddha and the surrounding area during a morning tour. It is very nice to look at, and you can walk there. But I would really recommend to drive to this sight independently and visit, because then you also have correspondingly more time to look at everything in peace and walk. You can also see many monkeys there.

Standing on the Son Tra peninsula, the Lady Buddha statue captures the attention of visitors with its impressive presence. From here, visitors can enjoy a wide view of the blue waters of the East Sea and the bustling city below. It is a calm and fascinating experience that will be long remembered by all visitors.

Nice trip if you can go on a motorbike. It looks like it's a distance away but it really is not. You'll save a lot of money if you rent a motorbike and go on that. You'll see Danang in the distance across the water. But go on a sunny day for good pictures. When I was there it was nothing but rainy rainy rainy...

We were taken aback by the size of the Lady Buddha and the intricacies of other temples that were surrounded by beautifully sculpted trees and colourful flowers. The area wasn’t busy during our visit so we did get a sense of tranquility and peace. It’s a must visit in Danang.

The Lady Buddha is a 67m high statue that represents a female Buddha. The statue is located on the Linh Ung Pagoda complex. It is a beautiful complex on the Son Tra Peninsula with the Linh Ung Pagoda, the Lady Buddha, a beautiful garden with huge bonsai, with different levels and a beautiful view of Da Nang. There are free-roaming monkeys on the complex but they are not at all interested in us humans. A highlight and a "must visit" in Da Nang.

Right from the airport we were taken to this magnificent monument which was on top of a hill overlooking Da Nang. Even though there were a lot of people, the place was huge and did not seem crowded. Enjoyed the well manicured bonsai plants. The whole place is so neat and well maintained. You can watch the sunset from here. Since cars go right to the top there is very little climbing.

The pagoda in Son Tra is not very far from Da Nang but there are some hilly roads to climb if you drive or ride a bike. So to make things easier and relaxing we just booked a day tour with other side trips. Our guide gave us sufficient time to visit and take pictures. It is indeed a good place to take beautiful pictures if you like taking pictures otherwise you do not need to stay long in that place. It was winter when we went there so it was very windy and chilly with a bit of rain, so you need to check the weather before going there at different times or season. There are many figurine character statues and the bonsais are very well kempt and beautiful.

Lady Buddha is a magnificent temple complex located on a small peninsula north from Da Nang. It's easy reachable with taxi (Grab) with a few bucks 10-15 min ride.
Main star is the tallest Lady Buddha statue in all southeast Asia, but apart from it you can visit the Monastery complex with library, kitchen, etc... No fee entry.
From the Temple premises are amazing views of Da Nang bay with its high rises.
Count on around 1,5 - 2 hours for entire visit including transportation.

Landed in Vietnam, took a break and got a grab car to reach this place at around 4 pm and with wonderful cloudy weather it was just mesmerizing. Lady Buddha - majestic and so blissful standing tall and visible from large parts of coastal da nang. Just so beautiful with all the trees, sculptures and pagodas. Entry is free. Plenty of parking available and getting here is no trouble at all. The view of the coastline and the beaches at sunset is eye soothing. The place is also called monkey mountains but we hardly saw any this day. Must visit !

Lady Buddha is situated in a promontory facing the long and wide expanse of beaches that Da Nang is famous for. She's 67 meters tall, equivalent to 219 feet 10 inches! There's lots to take pictures of here and the monkeys were well behaved the day we came. Since we stayed at Sala Danang Beach Hotel, we could see the Lady Buddha morning and night. She tends to be the focal point amidst the green background of Son Tra Peninsula during the daytime. At night, she's all serenely lit up. In the photos I attached, you can clearly see the Lady Buddha across My Khe Beach.

I’m in awe! The largest Lady Buddha I’ve ever seen. Lady Buddha is the protector of Danang, as she has the power to re-route potential dangerous typhoon in a different direction. She is highly revered for the love she has for the people of Danang. The beautiful bonsai plants adored her lady. When visiting, make sure you truly take a good look at how intricate these plants are. I so enjoyed it so much. As I do my mindfulness, I had the chance to touch these amazing plants. The beautiful blue sky complimented the Lady. I can see Lady Buddha from my hotel room. I thank her for caring for Danang.
Remember, take lots of pictures here to take home to remind you of a serene place.

Use Grab app to get picked up in Danang, and consider a round trip as it can get busy at the parking lot. We didn’t do round trip though and were still fine in booking another Grab once we’d done.
Spent in total about 60-90 mins here walking around the statue, pagoda and admiring the views. Can also watch the monkeys but be careful as we saw one or two getting angry at stupid tourists trying to get too close.
No entry fee and expect many tourists here, but all in all absolutely worth a trip.

We never heard about Lady Budha and temple for her amazed us. Such a big statue of white marble of Goddess / Lady Buddha facing sea is beautiful. We took numerous pictures around her . Atmosphere at afternoon time is pleasant . Place is quite neat and clean . You can spend about 1 hour relishing beautiful environs / sceneary here . However, lady Buddha statue is one of the highest in Danang / Vietnam which is visible from far of the places in Danang.

The site is well maintained, plenty of shade and public toilets. Ladies can’t enter one of the areas in shorts, but they have wraps you can borrow to cover your knees. Great views across the water to the Da Nang skyline. There is a concession store selling ice creams and drinks at reasonable prices not inflated tourist prices. We took a grab from the Novotel Premium Han River Hotel for 155 VND. The driver said he would wait for 2 hours and then take us back. We were finished in 1 hour and he took us back to the Novotel for the same price.

i came here on 11 September when i stayed in da nang for two nights. lady buddha statue here is the tallest in vietnam, it is magnificent and solemn, it located at linh ung pagoda area, you can visit both in one day, you can see Da Nang city here also, beautiful city view. The statue stands facing the sea, with one hand praying and the other one holding a pitcher of nectar, as if she is blessing the fishermen who were reaching out to sea for a peaceful and successful crop. many tourists love to take pictures with lady buddha, as if doing so, will get protected by lady buddha, i am one of them too, haha. besides lady buddha, there is also a statue of laughing buddha, just standing in front of the lady buddha statue. both are important to Buddhists, if you came here, remember to pay respect to them, and also praying here.

This place has the statue of Lady Buddha tens of meters high overlooking the bay with terraces where you can admire bonsai and other pagodas containing Buddhas. On the other side, the reclining Buddha also invites you to a stop. Parking available and non-paying visit.
