The Lady buddha and pagoda is a great way to spend an hour or two. There is a great view of My Khe Beach and the city.

A short ride along the peninsula at the north of China Beach (Danang). There is a giant lady Buddha, a pagoda, a many other small statues of Buddhas and animals. Free to get in, and I believe it's always open

Free to get in. Take a bus from Da Nang. This is the least expensive way to get there. Check for return bus times. If there is a group of 4 or 5 then a taxi will be more expensive price shared and a bit...More

Always love to visit Linh Ung temple every time i am in Danang! Peace and serenity ☺️ the temple is situated on the mountain/hill overlooking the city. It is definitely one of the best things to do while visit Danang!

The status itself is impressive, and the drive here is nice. Better seen during the spring and summer months March-September. Clearer days, although much warmer too. Nice views of the statues and of Da Nang. Worth the trip.

I used my scarf to cover my bare shoulders/arms when entering temples as a sign of respect but it’s not strictly enforced like in Thailand. There’s no dress code.

10 day itinerary. A bit confused about stuff.. (0 Replies)
This is the itinerary I have prepared after seeing a lot of suggestions here on TA. How feasible does this itinerary look like? I have skipped Ho Chi Minh and Hue to make it simpler. Am I giving too much time to Hanoi? Day 1 Reach Ho Chi Minh City at 10:30. Visa etc. Fly straight to Da Nang •Lady Buddha (5*) •Non Nuoc Beach (5*) •Marble Mountains(4*) •Dragon Bridge (4*) Day 3 Day trip to Hoi An: south from Da Nang 30 Km. 50 mins •Hoi An Ancient Town (5*) •Thuan Tinh Island(5*)...More

Evvenings in DaNang (6 Replies)
I will be in DaNang all week, but working during the day (likely until about 5PM). Are there some sightseeing things that I can do while I'm here that don't close at 5PM? Are things like Ba Na cable car, Lady Buddha or one of the mountains doable after 5PM?

Nobody goes to visit Bana Hills after 5 pm, they visit it during the day then spend nights there if they want, but not start at 5 p.m. At night, Da Nang is more beautiful than during the day. You can see many beautiful bridges when the light on them is up. If you stay in Da Nang during weekends, you can have a watch at the Dragon Bridge which can breath fire and spout water at 9 p.m. You still can visit Linh Ung pagoda after 5 p.m. In this season, that's the ideal time to go out since the...More

Private tour rate (7 Replies)
Hi all, I requested for a quote for a day tour (private car) in Danang and Hoi An (Lady Buddha, Hoi An and My Son) and was quoted $150 for 2 pax. This is inclusive of a tour guide and entrance fees Is this price reasonable? Thanks..

Even it is private tour, it is fairly expensive. You can use the tool search on this website to check with others and will find a better price.
