I was so looking forward to visiting the famous My Khe beach, because of the place it held in the lives of so many of our soldiers during the Vietnam war. Well I was hoping for the beach community feel and some degree of old Vietnam, but it is very sterile with concrete and was very hard to imagine a beach community. And it is the only place we were taken advantage of on our bill at one of the beach restaurants. I understand progress but do not take all the character out of such beauty.

We had heard lots of Da Nang beach before coming to the place. Hence we took the chance to see it from the summit of the Monkey mountain. It was awesome and marvelous. Everything was amazing but the name China beach. Biker nguyen told me that it should have been called Da Nang beach instead. And we knew the locals also didn't want to attach "China" to their own beautiful property at all. Delicious seafood near by also a good point that people should spend time on walking to the beach.

What a lovely long beach but full of plastic bottles, rubbish, ect ll washed up even a dead dog the builders working on the new hotels just dump their rubbish on the beach. The hotels do a very good job at cleaning in front so unless you walk you do not see the dreadful site.

One of the gorgeous beaches in Da Nang! Best to visit between April and June. And you can enjoy local seafood dishes at the beachfront restaurants while enjoying the mild waves...😊😀👍🏻

Chill and relax on the beach, under a beach umbrella or a palmtree.

A US$ 3.50 taxi trip from Danang township took me to this iconic Vietnam Beach. Filling up with the locals in the afternoon. A surf rescue patrolled beach. I hired a beach chair, had a great swim and general lounge about. Got some food on the esplanade from the local food vendors.

Beautiful beach which you can walk along for hours on with uninterrupted views, very clean and beautiful golden sands. We watched some surfers for a while and also came across some fisherman pulling in their nets at the end of the day. Beautiful place to spend a day or afternoon walking up the beach

The beach really is one continuous stretch of sand as far as the eye can see. It may be divided into Non Nuoc and My Khe, but they might as well just be one beach. Beautiful white sand and clear water, fantastic on a hot day.

is the water okay for swimming? Are there any dangerous sea creatures? I heard that in some months there can be a lot of jellyfish

Around 25-27 degree C. It is the best weather in Da Nang, not too hot like the summer and not rainy.

One of the most fun impressive hotels I’ve ever stayed at anywhere is the Four Seasons just outside Danang in route to Hoi An. It’s right on the beach. Many rooms each have their own 40’ private heated pool right on the beach and yourown private butler. Incredible hotel.

Is the sea clean in March?Does the beach dissappear due to tide?
Written February 4, 2017
March should be good because it's the dry season. Sunny and clear water. The beach will never disappear due to tide but you should avoid the monsoon season (June - November). Rain and heavy storms sometimes.
