A beautiful and a well kept beach. We were able to but food and drinks and even rent a round shaped boat. But as the waves were strong and the weather was threatening to pour, we did not swim or go boating. We would go...More

A long stretch of beach with minimal human activities. Quiet and peaceful to lay by the beach to enjoy a good sun tanning or enjoy the breeze under the shade.

Go to Thailand if you want nice beaches and relaxing times. Overall clean. No scenery. Big road aside. Very noisy. Too much construction. Too many tall buildings.

Non Nuoc Beach is a lovely beach, clean water and warm sand. It could have been perfect if we could practice kitesurfing.

We stayed at a beachfront hotel and loved the view from the bar across to the beautiful beach and the mountainous backdrop. My husband had a go at surfing and experienced gentle waves ideal for learning. It was suitable once past the close to shore...More

Great place to bring kids and a family. There are life guards and lots of reasonably price eating places backing onto the beach. Sand is clean and the water is as clean as I have seen in Vietnam.

One of the most fun impressive hotels I’ve ever stayed at anywhere is the Four Seasons just outside Danang in route to Hoi An. It’s right on the beach. Many rooms each have their own 40’ private heated pool right on the... More

10 day itinerary. A bit confused about stuff.. (0 Replies)
This is the itinerary I have prepared after seeing a lot of suggestions here on TA. How feasible does this itinerary look like? I have skipped Ho Chi Minh and Hue to make it simpler. Am I giving too much time to Hanoi? Day 1 Reach Ho Chi Minh City at 10:30. Visa etc. Fly straight to Da Nang •Lady Buddha (5*) •Non Nuoc Beach (5*) •Marble Mountains(4*) •Dragon Bridge (4*) Day 3 Day trip to Hoi An: south from Da Nang 30 Km. 50 mins •Hoi An Ancient Town (5*) •Thuan Tinh Island(5*)...More

These places are in Ninh Binh so you can stay at hotel in Ninh Binh to visit them. Also for one day tour from Hanoi to Ninh Binh only visit two places then back to Hanoi city. Or you can take bus to Ninh Binh, rent motobike to visit these places, quite cheap and easy to go.

Advice for Danang-Hoi An-My Son-Hue (6 Replies)
Hi there, Having read through some threads, it's seems like there are two camps as to where to stay for a visit to the places above: - one camp suggests basing in Danang for the entire trip and making day trips - another camp suggests basing in Hoi An, Danang and Hue for 1-2 days each. We are a group of 7 adults and 5 children (ages 9,8,6,4,3) visiting for 6D/5N. My initial thought was to base in Danang and make day trips due to the complexity of packing and unpacking with such a big...More

I'm not a beach person so will not attempt to answer your #1. (I would note that no-one would advocate staying in Da Nang and visiting Hue as a day trip as it's a three hour journey in either direction making a day trip very long with limited time actually in Hue. So your second option is the more sensible.) >>I read that the train ride from Hoi An - Hue is really picturesque but will it be challenging for our group to attempt that? Alternatively, does a road trip accord the same...More
