Danang Golf Club is situated on the fledgling central coast of Vietnam amid 150 hectares of dunescape similar to what the world’s first golf courses were carved from. Its chief feature is a 7,160-yard, 18-hole, links-style layout that was designed in the true spirit of the game — blown-out bunkers, firm and fast fairways that bleed gently into wild seaside vegetation, rugged waste areas, swales and hollows — by Australian golf legend and former world No. 1 Greg Norman. It lies in close proximity to two of Vietnam’s most historic destinations — UNESCO World Heritage sites Hoi An and Hue — and offers breathtaking views of the Marble Mountains, East Sea and Cham Islands.

This layout was really appealing to me, and whilst it's quite a bit more expensive than its Scottish neighbour it was well worth playing (even badly). Typically super attentive staff and attention to detail means the course and its supporting facilities are always well presented and readily available to meet your every need. The rental clubs were a tad on... More

Carts should be compulsory! Great course, staff, caddies, service and experience. Caddie was great and as were the other golfers on the course. Was tough but not too many water hazards. Would be nice if a bit more busier and getting guests in groups with others. A fine day out for golfers of all standards.

Just a great days golf. 16 of us arrived to be greeted by our caddies for the day along with golf staff. Da Nang really knew how to lay it on. Everyone in our group were so impressed with their caddies that they are increased the caddie tip. The course was a delight to play but we were unanimous in... More

My husband played this course with our daughter and 2 friends. He has played many courses in Asia and thought this course was just OK. Nothing special. They did enjoy the game and the caddies were very good. Very expensive. Even staying at Ocean Villas, which has preferential rates it was £75 each plus cart cost for 2 people. I... More

A really tough test of golf. Greens running at pro level speed so putting was not easy. Fairways are tight and greens strongly protected. No room for too many mis hits on this course. Great course design and caddies very helpful. Not a course for the faint hearted golfer.

I give 5 star for this course. Its so beautiful links course. Played a day earlier at neighbouring club in scoarching heat but it was the opposite when we played here. Being a links course, you will have good opportunities in doing regulations. Balls in rough are easily managed but bunkers are challenging, heavy beach sands. Club house is nice... More

My wife and I played together with a Czech guy who is trying to get to turn pro. We enjoyed our game today as the course was interesting and beautifully designed to test your shotmaking and decision making abilities. The caddies were well trained and helpful. You need to be quite accurate to stay off the rough but you still... More

As part of 16 golfers from Forbes in NSW, Australia we were chauffeured to this great golf resort by our great team from Golf Asia and were not disappointed one bit. The layout was fantastic and ranks as good as any course around the world. The Caddies were so good with their knowledge of the course and the greens in... More

The Danang golf club is situated about 30 minutes from the Mercure where we stayed. The golf course is fantastic, the sort of course you walk off and say 'yeah, I could play there every week'. It's a course that you can play close to handicap, although the harder holes are exactly that, or take it on at your own... More
