Even the faint hearted can try. This French discovered place was amazing. You can have lot of food stuff out there and a theme park. Old classic architecture can be seen. Apparently the Cable Car is the longest in Asia and the big one did take around 30 mins. You dont think it looks that long but you go over one hill and it carries on and then you go over another and again it carries on, and it continues like that until you reach the top. The views are amazing and although it seemed busy, you dont have to wait as they continually run. Sun World amusement group owns and operates this theme park, along with the famous golden bridge, as well the resorts around it.
Speaking of this cable car itself, it's just an ordinary one (along with 4-5 others next to it) you see in any ski resort in Europe - nothing to write home about. It's the only mean of transportation to reach the Golden bridge up, as well the theme park next to it.
Have in mind you CANNOT purchase the ticket only for the cable car, but must buy the whole theme park ticket in which it's included.
TIP: If you're travelling to Phu Quoc island, on its south, Sun World has another cable car.
This one, Han Thom cable car, is an engineering masterpiece, holding the world record as the longest one (8 km) over the sea, spanning 3 small islands (read that review) - really impressive.

We went to Ba Na Hills on a wonderful sunny day, and the cable car ride was fantastic! View was great on the way up and down. However, there are many cable car lines (all included in the ticket) so it can get confusing. So ask the operators before you board if you are not sure.

A short but sweet ride to Ba Na Hills. Can see breathtaking waterfalls as stream flowing down the hills along the way. Can nicely seat 8 persons comfortably in each cable car.

The worst adventure park ever. We went there today expecting to see the beautiful bridge and simply have fun. This place is the weirdest thing ever. There are a lot of spaces that don’t make any sense. The bridge was so small and crowded, totally not worth it. Waste of time and money. Sorry 🤷🏻♂️

The Ba Na Hills Cable car is 5.8 kilometres in length and has lovely views over the Ba Na Hills. There are multiple cable car lines (at least 6) so you can get different views from each of them, mostly over forested lands where rivers and streams can be seen. It would probably be good to go up one cable car line and come down another. The cable cars are part of the Ba Na Hills amusement park with the Golden Bridge, the French village and amusement rides so it also delivers you some interesting attractions though I consider it a premier attraction in itself.

There are multiple cable cars which run from the base of Sun World resort to the top of Ba Na Hills. It is a huge tourism complex with hundreds of tourists running in and out. It has two stages of ride and on each stage there are things to see. A full day is required to enjoy the trip

Amazing views if the weather is clear - one of the longest cable cars in the world. We loved it. The only downside was that the map system was a bit confusing and we'd probably have taken a different route had we figured this out in time.

Great day from Da nang .
Very easy to hire a driver to drop and pick up to the entrance of the-cable car. Brought tickets from kiosk very easy.
Just the cable car ride was brilliant 30 minutes!
Top of the hill was brilliant depart cable car straight to amazing golden bridge. Views are fabulous. Next get cable car to french village this considering the location is outrageous. A perfect reconstruction of a cool french town. Countless restaurants and souvenir shops . There are so many good points to mention.
Great day out or you can stay longer in the many good quality hotel s.

We took this cable ride up to Ba Na Hills Village in the hills. It is on a par with the swiss cable cars. Probably quite a bit longer than some of the rides I have taken in Switzerland. Clean and equipped with sickness bags for anyone who is not good at heights. Lots to see on the way up and great views.

Hi, I am afraid of heights and claustrophobic but do not want to miss the opportunity to visit the Ba Na Hills and Golden Bridge. How many people do the cars hold and how long are you in the cable car for? Thanks

Prior to all the earlier answers, do try to sit in between others so that you feel much more assure. And it is a Must to sit the cable car as the view is spectacular and at each landing, there are so much to see. You can spend at least half a day there, much longer if desired. Do try it.

It was already more than a year, so i cannot remember the cost. Do google the website. If you follow a travel agency, it should be inclusive of the cable ride and admission. As for the Theme Park, you are entitled to some free rides but there are some that you need to pay. Generally all the places you visit are free and you can walk around, Pay as you eat and drink, buy as you pay for any souvenir. A must go place to spend for 4-6 hours .
