About
My name is Phu. I live in Hoi An, but I come from a small village near the border to Laos. I became a motorbike tour guide (easy rider) nine years ago. I just love my job and I love showing people the real Vietnam by motorbike. So, what do I consider the real Vietnam? Countryroads, small villages with minority people, the Ho Chi Minh Trail, waterfalls, cities in the central highlands, and coffe. Thank you for all support to me .

What a wonderful way to see Denang and the surrounding area! My girlfriend found this tour and after a lot of deliberation (mainly by me - not the most trusting of riding on the back of a motorbike having never done it before), I can honestly say it was one if the best days we’ve had in our trip so far!

Phu was amazing. So friendly, so wizened and accommodating from booking right through to taking us back to our Hoi An hotel. We saw local culture in a number of different villages off the beaten track, with a trip to an 11th century temple, and meandering through the countryside all the way up to the Ba Na Hills. No muggy, scary main roads! Both Phu and his colleague (the second driver) were safe and the fact that they had motorbikes over mopeds meant we could tackle more difficult terrain and busy roads easily and safely.

We stopped for authentic Vietnamese coffee, food (with a beer of course) and continued from Ba Na Hills to Monkey and Marble Mountain via Denangs Dragon Bridge and a great stint along the coastal roads.

I can’t recommend this highly enough - well worth the money if you really want something different with a couple of really lovely and smart guides.

This is truly a must do. Van has an amazing amount of knowledge on both the history of Vietnam as well as the landscape. The pass was simply stunning and I felt much safer on the motorbike with such a skilled driver on the sometimes narrow pass than I would have on one of the giant buses! I normally don’t like tours and tend to avoid them with a short attention span but this was absolutely incredible; with he perfect amount of stops and so many photos! The waterfall was a definite highlight as well, lunch was delicious and made vegetarian at my request, and the fishing village and surrounding lagoon were an awesome experience. Will definitely do again!

Incredible experience!

My partner and I had an incredible day with Phu and his team on the motorbike adventure day tour from Hoi An to Hue.

We learnt so much from Phu about the Vietnamese culture and he was very passionate about sharing his knowledge and supporting the local people. We were able to experience amazing local food/coffee and see the beautiful countryside that Vietnam has to offer.

We felt safe on the motorbikes the entire time and it was a completely stress free process to book/organise with instant communication via WhatsApp.

We cannot recommend Phu and his tour enough to anyone that wants an authentic Vietnam experience. We will be planning our next trip back to Vietnam around one of the longer tours that he has to offer.

Must do! Wonderful journey

This trip cought my eye on Vietnam travelers and it will be one of my favorite experiences in Vietnam. The average speed was between 50-65km/h which was very pleasant. The guide gave us alot of information at every stop and secured our Backpacks in plastic and ropes. We visted the marble mountains, swom in the river, visited 2 fishing spots and mushroom farm. Most of the roads were on the countryside and the view was absolutly stunning. The lunch we had served was all fresh and very tasty. (They picked us up at the hotel + dropped us off which is very handy).

If you want to get out of your comfort zone and try something differen than train, plane or bus, I’d highly recommend their team! It’s so worth the experience.

A fantastic trip. All three drivers were safe and accommodating and there was excellent communication in the lead up. The motorbikes were comfortable (which isn't always a given!) and we made regular stops along the way for photos. The food on the tour was delicious, it was a nice touch stopping at Phu's house where his wife cooked us delicious banh xeo - even for a pescararian. All the drivers were so passionate about their job - they clearly loved having tourists back and their enthusiasm was contagious. I would strongly recommend.

Highly Recommend - Simply the Best

We took a 1 day tour with Phu in 2018 and loved it. When we decided to return to Hoi An, we contacted Phu and he organized a 3 day (2 night tour) along a portion of the Ho Chi Minh trail, through the mountains on the border of Laos. The scenery in the Central Highlands was beautiful, and the minority villages were so interesting. It was a route less travelled by tourists so we feel lucky to have experienced it with Phu and Ca ( Larry and I rode on the back of the motorbikes). We saw and learned so much along the way. We highly recommend a 1 day or more trip with Phu and his team - it will be one of the highlights of your time in the Hoi An area.

Excellent tour from Hoi An to Hue

My partner and I had an excellent day going from Hoi An to Hue with Phu and his assistant driver. Phu was friendly and shared some of Vietnam’s history and culture with us at various interest points along the journey. The motorbikes were comfortable, we both felt safe at all times and we were able to securely put our large backpacks on the back of the motorbikes. We particularly appreciated being taken on the quieter roads and getting to see local rural life including an oyster and shrimp farm. We also enjoyed our lunch at a local restaurant with local food. We would 100% recommend this easy rider tour.

While staying in Hoi An, me and my girlfriend wanted to do a motorbike tour. Scrolled through google and came up with Hoi An Motorbike Tour adventures. After reading the reviews we decided to do the one day tour past the marble mountains, da nang, old temple and more. I hit the company up by Whatsapp and had a reaction of the owner Phu in 2 seconds. He didn’t had a tour that day so he was able to respond fast. Obviously if he’s on a bike he can’t react that fast, but still every possible moment he had while not explaining things to us and answering our questions he was on whatsapp helping possible clients. We had a great day exploring the area and experience the roads. Phu is really kind, the motorbike and the protective clothes were in good condition, the food we had with the lunch was very good and Phu is just a lovely guy who likes to explain things and answer questions. Even at the end we asked him if he recommended restaurants in Hoi An and he inmediatly whatsapped some.

Conclusion, I would recommend Phu to all who would love to do a motorbike tour in and around Hoi An.

A highlight of our time in Vietnam

My father and I traveled on Mr. Phu's backroads motorbike trip from Hoi An to Hue and it was one of the top highlights of our 2.5 week trip in Vietnam. Phu was very helpful answering questions leading up to the trip and was right on time for our departure with Tho, the other motorbike driver. Phu and Tho was incredibly friendly, took as on a great route with lots of cool stops along the way, and were great drivers. we felt incredibly safe with them and they were well prepared for a little rain, which really should not prevent you from doing this trip. My 72 year old father loved the trip as well. We had so much fun getting to motorbike around the backroads of central Vietnam and I could not more highly recommend Phu!

Affordable, fun, and safe motorbike tour

Mr. Phu is a great guide. This was one of my favorite experiences during our three week Vietnam trip. I felt safe the whole ride and Mr.
Phu consistently checked to make sure I felt comfortable during the tour. He is flexible and super responsive when booking. If there’s something you’re particularly interested in, Mr. Phu will try to include it and work with you. If you are thinking of doing the Hai Van Pass or any type of motorcycle tour, do not hesitate to book with these guys. Excellent price, wonderful service, and just really good people.
