Had an awesome time with our guide Viet, who showed us round some of the countryside around Hoi An. Hoi An is very flat mostly so the biking wasn't too taxing. The biking was great fun any way, going between the rice fields, squeezing past water buffalo, charging up a giant bridge. Viet was very knowledgeable and answered all our stupid questions :). Great morning out! Great guide! Bring a hat if it's sunny!

This is a fantastic trip and I would gladly recommend to anyone visiting Hoi An. It is a great way to see some of the surrounding area and a nice change of pace after wandering the Old Town for several days. The country side is beautiful, the tour guides were professional and spoke excellent English and I really got a sense of some aspects of Vietnam I wouldn't get otherwise. As an admitted caffeine addict, I particularly enjoyed learning about Vietnamese coffee and how it is roasted. I had never thought of Vietnam as a coffee country and was surprised to learn how important it is. A highly recommended addition to any stay in Hoi An!!!

We went on the half-day tour that starts at Cocobox Café in the Ancient Town. Our two guides Viet and Ahn were there when we arrived - they are both a lot of fun and speak good English. The first few blocks riding through the market area were crowded but after that it was easy riding, slow-paced, and the breeze always felt nice. I loved riding through the rice paddies with water buffalo and enjoyed our stops, too: a place that makes rice noodles, a cemetery, a fruit and drink break at a cafe out in the countryside, and a place that makes peanut oil and sesame oil. Beautiful scenery and a nice combination of activities. We were visiting Hoi An during the hottest part of the year, and unfortunately the heat and humidity got the best of me during the last half of the tour and I had to cut it short. I was disappointed that I didn't feel well enough to make it to our last stop to hear about Vietnamese coffee growers and roasters, but I could not have wished for better guides. Viet and Ahn really went above and beyond taking good care of me and got me back where I needed to be. They are the best!
