I was in Hoian twice, but this time, I was spending time on visiting this Park. I was surprised because of its gallery products.
They are all handmade with care and skillful artists. Listening to melody music while exploring will ease your mind and bring you with peace.
Highly recommend!

This rating is for the part as a whole. The "living museum" part with the local makers demonstrating their craft was interesting, but there was a definite feeling of obligation to purchase after the hands on experience we were encouraged to try with clay and wheel. We visited mid-October, and the museum component (large building pictured in this listing, separate ticket and charge) was closed, and with a sign still up "Open every day 8am to 5pm" and no one contactable, we were quite disappointed. From the outside it looked very interesting, but not recently maintained.

A very interesting and different place to visit and see the local way of life. The art work is high quality and worth a visit.
The museum itself is very nice. I really liked the sculptures of world landmarks. Is worth a visit for children swell as lots of hands on activities.

We cycled with our 3 daughters to the terracotta village near Hoi An to get a sence of the villagers' work and surroundings.
We were lucky to step into this beautifully designed museum! We were guided through the museum (an architectural gem), and got to learn some interesting things about the villages' customs.
It's definitely worth a visit!

Went here after the terracotta village. A much better place but at the same time it is missing a trick as it is really very tired and need of some care given to the place. A lot of the models are in need of repair which I know it states the pottery is prone to breaking over time but why not at least try.it just looks very grubby and uncared for with lots of broken exhibits.

We had a spare morning and decided to come here. We were not disappointed! Cheap entry, 30k, get to see some cool terra cotta stuff. The miniature world famous buildings in terra Cotta were amazing. Then you can pay 30k to either break a pot, paint a face mask or make a pot. Very much worth it! We spent about 1.5 hours there.

We rather hate the pottery village as it is a total tourist trap but by contrast the Terracota park was put together by a French expat who wanted to show off the intricacy of this dying handicraft and he totally succeeded. The place demonstrates what can be done by experienced workmen with miniature replicas of famous building, giant elaborate murals and many other features. For families we highly recommend booking a kids pottery class so the kiddies can play with their hands and make something interesting to take home. The only down side of the property is that some exhibits have been damaged by thoughtless tourists and the staff often seems exhausted by some of the tour groups and disinterested in maintaining the property or caring about much of anything. Still, this is just a minor low point and we highly recommend others to come check out this truly unique property

The craftsmanship displayed here in the museum and the grounds is spectacular. It’s a perfect place to spend a while taking in the skill of the local terracotta workers, and seeing the amazing pieces they can produce. They have miniature versions of world famous landmarks from across the globe, and you can even try your hand at making your own pot or bowl as a lovely souvenir. The entrance fee is very affordable for any budget and you pay about the same again to have a go yourself. Well worth a visit if you’re looking for something different in Hoi An!

Beautiful building and well laid out interesting displays. Interesting grounds and courtyard too.
A further short stroll to pottery village. For a couple of US$ well worth it
Near the ticket booth where you may for general entrance to the pottery village there is a very good outdoor cafe with food and cool drinks. The owner speaks good English and he called Grab for us as my call wouldn't go through and only 50k to get back to Hoi An old town.
Note you have to pay to stroll around the pottery village which I think supports the locals and again for the teracotta museum but for $2.0 worth it

We jumped on our complimentary bikes from the hotel and made the short ride from Hoi An to the park in about 15 min (at a very leisurely pace). It’s an easy ride on flat roads that aren’t crazy busy. The park is easy to find and costs very little to enter. The building which houses the gallery and other spaces such as small cafe, market shop, is an amazing red brick design. There is a vast array of art and artefacts on show in the airy cool gallery, some dating back to 11c, all in ceramic / clay. In the grounds there is a large section with terracotta replicas of famous landmarks, is a bit kitsch compared to the work inside, but impressive nonetheless. We easily spent 2 hours or so just wandering and admiring everything. Delighted we made it out there.

Hi Ms Carmen!
How are you?
And thanks for the question to us.
There is only one way to get our museum.
From central Hoi An, you can ride bicycle, motorbike and scooter or take a car go along Hung Vuong street ahead to the Fishing Market ( Chợ Cá in Vietnamese) and then keep going to Thanh Ha village ( remember do not turn right because of it would guide you to Vinh Dien Town). End at the road, you can see the ticket booth of government, please skip that ( don't buy ticket there). Turn left, then you can see Thanh Ha terracotta Park (The Museum) on the right hand side nearby.
You have to buy ticket for entrance, adult costs 30.000 VND, Children will be cost 15.000 VND, 50% off.
Beside entrance tickets, there are service experience tickets differently you can choose if you would like to enjoy it such as pot-making ticket (30.000 VND), Pot-breaking game ( 30.000 VND), Mask paiting ( 50.000 VND) and on-site tour guide ticket (100.000 VND)
Especially, we have tour ticket costing 150.000 VND/ Pax that was include entrance fee, tour guide, one free drink and 2 options among those activities.
Please contact to our booth ticket service to get more details. We have some staffs ready to help you in each area of park as well.
Hope to see you in Thanh Ha terracotta Park.
Happy New Year!

1. Trẻ em:
* Dưới 1.2m: miễn phí
* từ 1.2m trở lên: thu vé 15,000VND/trè
2. Người lớn: 30,000VND/vé

Dear Mr.Roby,
May I know the opening time of this place? How about the ticket price? I'm really would like to coming here for my trip on next week. I hope you will reply my queries as soon as possible. Thank you :)
Written August 10, 2015
dear,
for the moment they are working on the tickets, it is the government that decide, but it will not be very high. For now you only need the ticket for the village which is 25.000,- VD I don't think they will have the new tickets next week already, but I guess it will never be more than 100.000,- all together. when it is more, I will give you a free coffee.
the opening times are 8:30 to 17:30, at luchtime there are less visitors,
hope to see you!
