Great value for a range of tours and transfers

Before our trip to Vietnam I liaised with Tommy to book several transfers and tours during our trip. All were very good, and I felt were great value for private, customised experiences. We had only one minor hitch where a tour we had booked in advance was switched to something quite different, but it was switched back at our insistence and in the end it was the best of all the tours we did with Tommy. Our experiences included a pick up from Danang airport with visits to Monkey Mountain and Marble Mountain en route to Hoi An; a full day tour of My Son, a fishing village, a pottery village and a fruit and veg allotment; a food tour in Hue; a city tour in Hue; and a transfer to Hue airport. Tommy is very quick to respond and cares a lot about customer satisfaction, which we appreciated. Also, I recommend you request Tommy's guide Hau for My Son / Hoi An, she is full of information, full of energy, lots of fun and she is also incredibly sweet and solicitous, she took extra care of me regarding a mobility problem.

Prompt response to changes and refund:excellent customer service

Due to the ever changing requirements due to the Corona Virus our planned excursion was first delayed due to a change in our ships itinerary and then days later cancelled when Vietnam refused to allow our ship to dock. Tommy immediately rescheduled our tour for the alternate docking day/time with no impact to either our schedule or the cost. When the tour was cancelled he immediately began issuing refunds. The funds were received within 2 days. His timely and customer focused actions made dealing with all the stressful changes surrounding this trip much easier. I wish all the tour providers had the same level of customer service.
Although we did not actually get to take the tour, I have to believe that we would have been given the same level of service-excellent. I would highly recommend Tommy and plan to contact him when we return to Vietnam at some point in the future.

Great guides for beautiful places!

On a weekend trip to Hoi An, Tommy took us on a pair of trips with a morning in My Son and another in Da Nang and the Marble Mountains. He handled all the logistics, providing a very comfortable and safe ride to each location, coordinating access, and knowing/adhering to all COVID guidelines so we felt like we were in great hands throughout the trip. Tommy himself is very enthusiastic, friendly, and knowledgeable, and the guide he brought along - Mr. Ken - pushed the experience way beyond our expectations!

The sites are fantastic and having guides like this to provide context on both the ancient history and much more recent events made this a fascinating and educational trip. Mr. Ken was constantly pointing out interesting things both at our destinations and on the drive, providing historical information plus more personal stories along the way. Oh, and he's an excellent photographer, happily taking over camera duties and showing us where we could get the best pictures.

We definitely recommend Tommy to any who visit Da Nang or Hoi An whether you just need a safe and comfortable drive or plan to see the sites and we are looking forward to seeing him again the next time we visit!

Excellent Service

We lived in Hoi An for few months and wanted to relocate to Ho Chi Minh City with our two Dogs. We already used some transportation service by Tommy Dao and we were absolutely satisfied.

This is why we come up to Tommy Dao to help us with the relocation. Everything was quite smooth and easy. For the transportation to Ho Chi Minh City we had a private bus with two drivers. All the time we were totally relaxed and our dogs were feeling chilled.

Reliable, trustworthy and helpful transfer service during covid times

Tommy helped us get out of Hoi An to the Danang checkpoint to meet our driver from Hanoi. He took us to get our covid tests, collected the results and stored our tremendous amount of luggage in his van overnight so we could leave very early in the morning. He kept in touch with our connecting driver to help him manage the complicated checkpoints and overall made our experience as stress-free as possible. We highly recommend him and his services.

I came across Tommy Dao Tours via a Facebook page for travellers to Vietnam and so glad I did. With 10 days in HoiAn and plenty of time to look around we wanted a tour company that was local, affordable and knowledgeable. We found it! Tommy himself is a likeable and easy to get along with guy. He helped us organise our day trips and recommended some that we wouldn’t have even thought to do. Honest and reliable, and follows up after your tour to make sure you are 100% happy.

My "Go to" Tour Company in Hoi An and Hue

I booked all my transfers and tours in Hoi An and Hue with Tommy Dao tours. This is the 3rd time I have used his company in 18 months and all his guides and drivers are professionals and know their stuff. They provided our airport and Hoi An to Hue transfer, one tour in Hoi An (My Son Sanctuary with the amazing Mr Ken) and two tours in Hue with a lovely lady guide. Easy to deal with and great communication. For private tours and transfers, Tommy's pricing is competitive and you get modern vehicles, free wifi, licenced guides and great customer service

Private transfer from HCMC Tan San Nat International airport to Nha Trang

Awesome service provided by Tommy and his team, I need an immediate transfer back to my home for self isolation when I arrived back from Australia.
Tommy provided excellent service from the moment of contact to ensure all information was correct and kept updated all the way.
Tommy's driver took care of everything on the trip ensuring stops to break up the time in the car and also having something to eat for the long journey. Everything was completed at a good level.
Fully recommend Tommy and his team for any transfer services or other tour options.

Tam Thanh Mural Village

We took a private tour with our driver Phe of Tommy Dao Tours to Tam Thanh Mural Village, about 50 minutes south of Hoi An. It is a lovely, quaint fishing village and the residents are so friendly. A team of Korean volunteers created Vietnam’s very first street art village, the Tam Thanh Mural Village. With the mission statement art for a better community, the original works were painted in just 20 days in 2016. We found 47 of the 100 painted!!
After the village we made a stop at the Vietnamese Heroic Mother Statue, a very impressive site.
Tommy Dao Tours never disappoints!! The vehicles used are new, pristine, comfortable and have AirCon. Drivers & guides are excellent, professional, friendly, courteous & aim to please.
We have known & travelled with Tommy Dao since 2009. He’s just the BEST!!!

Friendly and Helpful

We used Tommy's services for airport transfer on 4th May, as we had an early flight and a lot of luggage including 3 cats. It was very early in the morning (5am) but he was happy to help, he even came by the day before to scope out the parking situation and crate sizes etc. We opted for the van due to the amount of luggage we had, which was 500k. Very friendly and helpful, would recommend.
