I met Ms An the following day of my first order. She was very friendly and listened keenly to try to understand what I wanted rather than create suggestions first. She appeared to really want to give me what I asked for which was nice. She knew all her fabrics very well and always suggested decent ones according to my style of clothing. I described two pinafores with no sample and she made each really cute and only needed to adjust once. Her and her tailors measuring and cuts are very accurate. She was also keen to fix anything I was not happy with, which really surprised me because I thought she would worry about doing too much when it was not agreed, but she wanted me to be happy each time so she immediately said she would fix whatever I wanted, and even agreed to add a new zip where it was not originally planned. For these reasons I'd say she went above and beyond and why I continued to order with her the following day. In the end me and my father ordered 8 items and although my final two shirts were made a little later than we agreed, Ms An kept her word and sent them free of charge to my hotel in the next district with her uncle at the exact time promised! She even created a new pair of pants for me and gave me the old ones that I was not happy with just to make me happy. All in all an amazing first experience with a Hoi An tailor and I'll go back and order more with her for sure!

Back again at Mrs An's corner spot in the Hoi An market.
We were here a year ago. And yes, we were here a year before that too.
That of itself should tell you that the quality / value equation generated by Mrs An and her daughter Sabrine is excellent.
So excellent that my wife kept adding extra requests while we were here.
Superb customer service, happy smiles, a great sense of humour, and all delivered at a fraction of the cost of the top end tailors a few minutes away.
Are we fans? You bet. And you will be too if you pay Mrs An a visit.

I looked at a number of cloth shops and tailors in Hoi An and found Mrs An to have at least the same quality and variety for a much more affordable price. Mrs An is very friendly and the clothes that she made me turned out just as I had wanted them. Would recommend Mrs An to anyone that wants shirts or pants made in Hoi An. She is at stall 90 in the cloth market.

Had a great time here. I've been to many of the Hoi An tailors - Mr Xe, A Dong Silk, Kimmy's and Mrs An's is just as good as any of the others (if not better), but at the fraction of the price.
I'd highly recommend her. While her shop can turn clothes around in 24 hours or less, I would recommend against this only because there might not be enough time for all the alterations you want, which happened with a few things I tried to add on. However, I was very pleased with everything overall. Go there with 2 days to spare and you'll be very pleased with the results!

I am very happy with my suit made by Mrs An and Sabrine. It was a very good price and the quality of the materials seem great. They are hard working and will make sure that the clothes and fit are just right. They are nice people and made the fitting sessions fun. You will probably need around 3 days in Hoi An to get a suit made for you, to be on the safe side. Would thoroughly recommend coming to Mrs An's shop in the cloth market for your tailoring needs whilst in Hoi An!

Amazing experience. Got a a handmade long linen dress made for only 50 AUD and it was finished and fitted by 2pm the next afternoon. The fact that other stores try to pretend to be Mrs An just shows how impressive and well-known the quality and price of her work is! She is a very friendly and hard working lady too!

Very good service, quality and affordable prices from Mrs An shop! Initially intended to only do a men blazer. After seeing the quality, we decided to tailor another 2 shirts and a female blazer. At the shop, they were not pushy while encouraging us to get more clothes tailored. We decided to tailor more after they offered us good pricing as they knew we are on a tight budget. The clothes fitted very well and did not need adjustments. I believe their quality is similar to other bigger name shops that were offered to us by our hotel or others down the road, while having cheaper prices as they run the stall from the market. Turnaround time was a day. We were served by Spring! Highly recommended!!

I got some linen shorts and shorts here as well as some T-Shirts. All of the clothes fit perfectly, the fabrics are great and everything was done in less than 2 days. Can’t say anything about more formal clothes like suits (except that they’re significantly cheaper here), but for leisure clothes it’s more than convenient!

We had a really great experience with Mrs An. Wonderful service and custom fitting. Very knowledgeable about her cloth materials and flexible. Affordable and great service. Will recommend those who come to Hoi An to do custom fitting with her :)

I went to see Ms An with a simple but detailed cotton kaftan. She said she would copy exactly (I pointed out every detail) and she delivered. It was identical, fit well, and every detail from pockets to runching on the arms was the same. Fabric was nice. I would return. I took a silk top to high end tailor (Yaly) to be copied. This was a painfully slow process and the detail was missing. Only after I drew attention to the missing detail and insisted on improvements did I get a good result. I had to lead the process. Not what I was expecting. Ask about thread colour, buttons, trims etc.
