My family and I had so much fun in this place. We had to wear rain coats because it was drizzling. The drizzle didn’t stop the many people who came here to ride the basket boat. Some performers did an exhibition on their boat, twirling around and getting everyone wet. People cheered and end up giving them tips , as they deserved it. In one place, a guy is serenading the many people with his karaoke machine. Such a touristy thing, but with lots of fun.

Went to the fishing village for sunrise to get away from the hyper commercialism of Hoi An and it was terrific! Friendly people and interesting things to see. Definitely a place to visit if you need a bit of an escape.

we did a 5am boat ride to the fishing village, walked around the village and then back to our hotel by 7.30am. Yes its an early start but we loved this tour. It had a very authentic feel to the fishing village. fishermen coming in with their catch and then selling the fish on to the next person and then the next. Its all very colourful and interesting. would thoroughly recommend.

Visited this fishing village with a mixture of ages 5-65.
One of the best days of my life - a fantastic day started by spread boat over to a little fishing island where u were given traditional fishing rods (bamboo sticks and wire) to sit and fish off rickety cabins then took into old style fishing boots - the fishing men/woman we're extremely friendly and made us all hats, rings, necklaces out of the trees (all added to the experience) they then showed us crap fishing and how to do tricks in the round boats. Before bringing us back for lunch.
An amazing day was had by all and pictures will never do this place justice - culture mixed with fun and friendly atmosphere

You need to get here at daybreak as by 7.30-8.00am things will have quietened. The area is very busy with landings and fish auctions before those times.Don't get in the way! There are very few tourists around.I noticed that most of boats are staffed by men but the sales are conducted by women. You may be lucky and see a rare species of fish. The bridge in the background of some photos has long been completed. If,travelling from Hoi An you will cross it.

We took an early morning walk through the fishing village, watching the fish being unloaded and sold at the quayside. Not touristy but great to watch people going about their normal life. A real insight into the Vietnamese life.

You need to be up bright and early to see this place at its best. Various companies do tours and visits but if you've got a bicycle or moped then follow your nose over the new bridge from Hoi An and take a left at the end. Very busy little fish market and a photographers paradise!
