When my wife and I decided to visit Vietnam we wanted an adventure and see the beauty of the landscape and the day to day life of the people. We searched and looked at reviews and spoke to different people as we were not wanting the usual tourist type tour. We wanted an expert with local knowledge of Hoi An and that was experienced and most importantly was safe. Mr. Son met our criteria and he definitely lived up to his reputation. Not being young we opted for Mr. Son's half day eco tour. It was amazing. We were taken through, over and around a labyrinth of paths tracks trails and roads that I am sure Mr. Son has taken many, many years to learn and create a experience and adventure that we will not forget. Some of the places we went I am sure that no other tour company would know about.Mr.Son gave us many opportunities for photos and to experience rural life from vegetable growers to eco friendly farm and rice noodle makers. I really enjoyed the fresh rice noodle with chilli and soy sauce. We went to a Buddhist shrine in the middle of a beautiful gated park and a waterfall hidden behind a small hydo power plant. My wife and I enjoyed Mr. Son's tour so much that we are planning our next adventure with Mr. Son and I am sure there will be more as he has a quite a few tour options. Tip: You will need covered foot wear for the walking sections and long pants and longs sleeved shirt to protect against the sun.

Had a great tour of My Son and the countryside with Mr Son. He chose such a brilliant route to the destination, through quiet streets and passing rice fields, farmland, small villages, rivers and streams. The price was good value and Mr Son responded to my booking request within minutes. I would recommend using him when in Hoi An!

Me and my wife did the the countryside tour with Mr. Son, because we wanted to visit My Son Sanctuary, starting from Hoi An. Really amazing was crossing the river by boat, because to enter it when you drive the Motorroller/-bike is crazy, because the boat was so small. My highlite was crossing this old swimming wood bride and taking a bath at a little waterfall, without any other tourists. All in all, the trip was amazing, maybe a little bit to long for us, because he wanted to show us some extra places. If you have a full day and like to ride through some small roads and see some special places, do it.

Mr Son was an amazing guide. My husband and I rode on one bike and Mr Son showed us the way. We saw some amazing sights and spent time in the villages visiting a local market and mat maker. We stopped for lots of photos and lunch, we met some great locals. Waterfall was amazing and we had it all to ourselves. The round boat party on the water was fantastic Thanks Mr Son for a fantastic day.

Yesterday, we had a great day trip with Mr. Son and his son-by-law. Next to My Son, we visited several non-tourisitic spots like a nice Cham temple, rice paper manufactury, vegetable farm, beautiful waterfall, floating bridge... Everywhere, Mr. Son gave us interesting information on the individual stops and took a lot of photos of us. The last stop was a funny boat ride, before we drove back to our hotel in Hoi An. Both Mr. Son and his son-by-law drove very carefully, thus we felt safe all the time.
