I checked out Yaly Couture while in Hoi An, and was impressed by the level of service and knowledge of the staff that I worked with. If you're looking to buy a tailored suit, Yaly offers suits in a range of materials, colors, and patterns to bring your dream to life. Many reviews have suggested that it's difficult to find the higher end materials (without any synthetic fibers) much elsewhere in Hoi An. Know before you go: unlike other shops in Hoi An where haggling and negotiating are part of the process, Yaly's prices are generally fixed. Suit prices are listed next to all of the fabric options on the wall, and if you attempt to negotiate prices (say for buying multiple suits) then your sales rep may bring over another friendly associate to remind you that Yaly's prices are fixed on the wall "to be fair to everyone." Here were some of the prices I saw in Oct 2023: If you pick a fabric made from mostly synthetic materials like polyester, suits are in the $100-150 range. Suit made of a "wool/cashmere" blend ("with just a little bit of polyester and cotton blended in" according to the salesperson I talked to) are about $300-350. If you're after a suit made from 100% wool (heavy or lightweight) or 100% wool/cashmere, expect to spend upwards of $350 per suit.

Excellent service, excellent quality garments. Ann and Mary helped us with our clothes. They were patient and made sure that our garments were exactly as we wanted. The owner Ms. Quynh took the time to talk with us and surprised us with an invitation to her fashion show!

I went to make my shirt and dress for my daughter and Ms. Ruby assisted us. It was such a smooth communication and since our stay was short, Ruby kindly offered speed delivery and successfully delivered to our hotel on a same day at night. Both my shirt and my daughter’s dress were beyond perfect and I would definitely come back to make more clothes next time. Thank you so much for the great professionalism!!

Emily our tailor was patient, not pushy, and gave us valuable advice to create several suits, blazers, business shirts and shorts; with a perfect fit after just two quick fittings. The material selection is vast and extremely good quality. I would not hesitate to recommend Yaly to all tourists looking for high end, quality custom tailoring with genuine friendly service. We will be straight back next Hoi An visit!

Arrived in Hoi An with the idea of maybe a suit, left with suits, casual clothes, work outfit and leisure wear! Staff and professional, quietly spoken, knowledgeable and helpful. Staff presentation must be acknowledged ... they wear a theme colour each day and are impeccably dressed. The place can get crazy busy but not stressful and strangely not noisy!! Huge range of fabrics to choose from plus pre made styles, catalogues to flick through and will discuss ideas with you! The end result is a case of beautifully tailored clothes to take back to Australia!

Yaly is overwhelming with the selection of fabrics, patterns and ready to wear options. You should have an idea what you want before going there although there is much inspiration with the samples and clothes available for sale. They will guide you if you choose an inappropriate fabric for a style and make recommendations if you describe what you’re looking for. The seamstresses are located there so they can turn around an outfit in 1 -2 days or less. It is quite an experience to have something made there. Highly recommend.

Never having been to a tailor previously, we weren't quite sure what to expect in visiting a tailor for the first time - we were keen, however, to follow the 'usual practice' of having some clothing made when visiting Hoi An. After an experience the day before of being 'encouraged/hassled' in the market area to get clothes made, walking into the calm atmosphere of Yaly Couture was a delightful experience! The quality and range of materials was spectacular and the helpful, friendly and professional advice of our tailors/advisors, Grace and Summer, was excellent. An initial fitting the next day followed by a final fitting the following day ensured that we were completely happy with all aspects of our garments. For the high quality service and products we received, we thought the prices were extremely reasonable. We will definitely go back to Yaly Couture the next time we visit Hoi An! Gen and Monica

During my trip in Hoi An, my group with family and friends went to tour around Hoi An. We encountered various amount of tailor shops and I was curious as to why there was so many. (I later found out this was Hoi An's expertise/what Hoi An is popular/known for). After our tour, the tour guide recommended us the good quality shops and this is where we found Yaly Couture. It peaked out interested by the outside of the shop. Exposed to beautiful and different fabrics, for men and women, and for different occasions. When we entered, we were greeted by a crowd of friendly staff looking forward to satisfy our needs. They escort us to a seating area and gave us a range of books and water (since it is hot in Hoi An). I gave them photos of two dresses I wanted to get done. A hanfu, which they couldn't do since they didn't have the pattern for it (Although I was going to ask if they could sew it on.) But either way, I was a bit worried that they might not know how hanfu was made. (traditional chinese dress) Which was totally fine. The second dress was a red formal dress, and the staff member that helped me confirmed it was okay to make. She took me to find my fabric and was very patient with me (since it was my first time getting something tailored). She took my measurements (really fast, I was impressed) and told my mother that she could pay for half of it. So, when we come back for fittings the next day, we could pay for the remaining if we were happy with our products. My mum also got two dresses and the staff helping her was very friendly. Giving advice and feedback to what flatters my mother's body, and also talked a bit about her life. Anyways, the next day when we came back to do our fittings, they were very encouraging and complimented the dress. I also noticed that you could hear the sounds of sewing machines upstairs. Later that night, they brought it to our hotel and I'd say it was a very good experience. The dress is so well made, the fabric was exactly like what I wanted and good quality and the service was friendly and necessary. I'd definitely go back if I had the chance to!

Susan (Heen) was so professional and lovely to deal with!! Our daughter (12) was over the moon about her dress and between the rest of us (2 adults and 2 in mid 20s) we had two full suits, three dress shirts, two custom dresses and a pair of dress pants (all within 24 hours - including a fitting). Thank you Susan and all of the fabulous staff!!

If you want the most beautiful clothes made, this is the only place to go in Hoian. The girls are fantastically well trained, with brilliant English. The fabric choices are massive and so many very very beautiful ones to choose from. Whether you want a tailored suit, or a fabulous evening gown, a cocktail dress or casual skirt, Yalys will make you anything very fast. They fit beautifully and last forever.
