Taxi from the hotel to the bikes with our guide Tim. The bikes were comfortable and perfectly functional for what we were doing. Cycled to the small ferry, across to the nice quiet picturesque island. Nice calm countryside, lots of rice fields with workers waving to us, children calling hello as we pass. First stop was Mr Dow who makes rice wine, rears pigs, plays guitar and sings. Very entertaining. Next was Reed mat makers, sadly a dying art, but great to have a go ourselves. Then making noodles with Miss Anne, very interesting and a delicious lunch. Gentle ride back to the ferry. A non strenuous ride for any ability. A great way to see a quieter side of Hoi An, meet locals and sample their skills. Great way to spend a morning.

Our guide Felix, set up our group of 8 riders and we explored the countryside on the outskirts of Hoi An and at the half way point, we took a break and enjoyed a canal trip in the round boats. Great hospitality from all those involved with Hoi An Cycle tours.

Fun ride with Lucky who took us to see so much in a short time, from making rice wine with a guitar playing vet, to mat making then cooking and eating our own delicious noodles. Easy enough ride with a short boat trip also! We took our ten year old who enjoyed it, especially the local school we also visited. Highly recommend, Thanks to our informative guide lucky.

Very enjoyable and easy cycling for the family. Helmet and water provided. Helpful commentary throughout. Ended with a trip on the basket boat which was also lots of fun.

Thanks to our tour guide "Lucky" who provided a relaxed and informative tour of the countryside. Great guide that not only wanted to talk to touristic background on the tour but also chat about anything that we asked about.

Highly recommened.

A fun way to explore Hoi An. We had Zoom Zoom and Minh Vo as our leaders and they were great! We got to see rice fields, visit a herb & vegetable garden belonging to a lovely very photogenic elderly couple, have a ride in the round fishing boats, and visit a local rice wine home brewery. The ride is flat and easy for most people to do as there are frequent stops.

We booked the early morning (5am) fishing village bike tour and had a great experience with Hoi An cycle tours.

It was really good going early as didn't see any other tourists, the weather was nice and cool and we saw the sunrise over the ocean which was really beautiful.

Our guide Tony spoke great English as well and made sure we enjoyed the tour.

Starting at 5am we cycled 6km to a fishing village, watched the locals buying and selling their catch, went to see how fish sauce was made, had some great tasting noodles, visited a rustic market, sampled sticky rice, took a ride in a boat to coconut island, all the while riding through villages, past beautiful scenery.

Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our cycle trip through the rice paddy and to the temple and a few locals houses to see how they made grass mats - not a difficult ride and a lovely relaxing morning out.
