Picked up from Hoi an at 8pm from our accomodation. We drove for about 1 hour then stopped to get drinks which you really do need. After that we tracked up a trail following the path of a river. Some good views along the way but you need to wear sensible shoes/trainers. After a while we stopped by a lovely pool and took a welcomed swim. Great 4 hour walk and well recommended.

Highly recommend the family tour to anyone wanting to see the central Vietnamese wilderness. Swimming in a waterhole up the mountain has been a highlight of the whole trip. Our guide Nico was like Thor, cutting back any overgrowth in our way. This tour is a reasonable challenge, it's perfect for the fit, but involves climbing up quite a few big boulders. If you are able and up for the challenge, I strongly recommend this experience.

I had an amazing hike with Lu form Pure Paths. We traveled about 45 minutes outside of Da Nang and I got to see the Vietnam that not many travelers do. This trek was a workout but the payoff of jumping into the water holes we hiked into was worth it. Lu was an excellent guide and showed me wildlife and flora I would have missed had I been on my own. This trek can be personalized to fit your group size and or fitness level. A great experience. Highly recommended.

we went on this hike and it was absolutely great. It was a moderately challenging hike - with some rock hopping and steady inclines in tropical temperature, but totally worth it! We got to swim at the waterfalls and see the views/butterflies/flowers/countryside. Lou was a great guide and we really enjoyed talking with him and hearing about his experience of living in Vietnam. After the hike he took us out to lunch (included) and we had an air conditioned taxi ride to and from our hotel. Absolutely recommended to anyone who loves hiking and experiencing nature in different countries.

My girlfriend and I did the family trek with Nico. It was an amazing experience and we’re so glad we did it but I did want to write a review for the following reasons: -I would not describe this as a family trek. In fact, I’m amazed there is a review of 7&8 year olds doing this trek. As two fairly fit 30ish year olds we found the scrambling up the waterfall very tough and quite dangerous in places. -Nico is a lovely guy and obviously loves trekking, but as a guide he does need to give more information. We basically followed Nico and he answered any questions we asked. He didn’t volunteer any information about the area. I don’t want to put anyone off doing this Trek as it was brilliant and totally different to any other tour we could find near Hoi An but just warn people of what to expect. Ps. Lunch in the restaurant after was delicious!
