What a superb spa. The receptionist was so sweet and welcoming and guided through the treatment. Had a herb sauna followed by an aromatherapy massage. Both were excellent and would absolutely recommend. Looking forward to going again!

Just back from the best foot massage ever! So relaxing I fell asleep. Wonderful manicure and pedicure too. Followed by a wonderful cup of ginger tea. Going home tomorrow otherwise would definitely want more treatments

After a day of riding and walking around in the muggy heat, it was time to unwind. There are many stet side massage / spa venues lining the streets, but we had heard many great things about Ginger Spa from locals and also from our hotel Hoi An Chic. So without hesitation we simply rode straight in without a booking and were taken care of by the lovely Gwin (spelling?) and her co-workers.
After taking time to offer us a cup of tea and take us through all our options we settled on a couple of options for each of us. I wanted a more in depth sports styled massage and I even buckled to getting a facial too (hey, I'm a modern kind of guy, lol). My partner chose an aromatherapy massage, facial and manicure, which she was really hapoy with. They lead us to the shower, and then into the vietnamese steamer, then to a 1 hour massage that was so good, I actually fell asleep for a moment or two.
The facial was fantastic and the girls made sure made we were happy the whole time. I can't speak highly enough of the staff and the services we received at Ginger Spa. Do yourself a favour. GO.

I had the Vietnamese massage and it was perfect. I also enjoyed the Vietnamese sauna with traditional herbs and spices. If you have a chance to visit Hoi An, please also visit this Ginger Spa, which located in a lovely corner with the rice field in front of the Spa, nice breeze and very peaceful. I will come back again and will reccomment this spa to my friends.

We had the traditional Vietnamese massage and it was excellent. Especially the lady at the reception made us feel very welcome from the beginning. And they give it a personal touch. Very good, and excellent value for money. Go here!

Friendly and professional service with attention paid to each detail, aroma, music and comfort to make the visit to ginger spa a most relaxing experience. On arriving we received a lovely cup of ginger tea and an explanation of our treatments. At the end a refreshing glass of juice from the lovely receptionist who along with the masseuse worked hard to ensure we were happy with our service.

We recently stopped by Ginger Spa so my girlfriend could get a foot massage and mani/pedi. I was pretty sunburned so I took the sunburn relief package. Both our treatments were pretty good. I think the sunburn relief package really helped my sunburn and my girlfriend was happy with her mani/pedi too. I also enjoyed my Vietnamese sauna before my treatment also it is a bit unusual as you are in a steam bath behind some kind of curtain.
What really made our time at Ginger Spa memorable though was the outstanding service by the staff, in particular Miss Nguyen. When she found out that it was my girlfriend's birthday, she went above and beyond to make it a great experience for us. She even got my girlfriend some flowers and a handwritten note. What a nice gesture!
I can definitely recommend Ginger Spa.

Ginger Spa is always the first place I think of when visit Hoi An. The first step in to Ginger Spa already makes me feel relaxed with the touch of nature in the decoration. The garden is freshly green and full of ginger plants and local herbs. The setting reflects the tranquility of Vietnamese countryside, with handmade bamboo funitures and ceramic pots. I still remember the view with the scene of young green paddy fields and a lazy buffalo with a stork on his back.
The staff is friendly but subtle enough, it makes me feel welcomed but not superficial. Not much talking, but I feel like they already know and understand my needs like an old friend.
At Ginger Spa, everything is natural, from the welcomed drink to all ingredients used on the skin. The preparation is also freshly made when ordered, so sometimes a facial mask smells yummy too :-)
A cup of a fresh green tea and a slide of home made candied ginger is quietly presented with a smile. A steam bath at Ginger Spa is also 'second to none', the room is filled with natural aromatic steam from the boiled herbs. It's just fantastically relaxed and therapeutic feeling, which I've not yet seen anywhere else. After that, the massage never disappoints me either, the therapist listens well to my tired body to customise the moves. I always feel lifted, leaving Ginger Spa :-)

Had a very nice experience at Ginger Spa. There was a slight communication problem with not much English spoken. Asked if they took credit cards, said yes (but no actually) and had a ride on a motorbike back to the hotel to get money and then back to the spa. Little more complicated than that, but this will do. Had a great massage and a manicure that was just ok getting 2 coats of polish with no under/over coat. All in all, it was very nice and definitely would recommend it. The staff is very sweet as well. Just be sure to take cash, no credit cards accepted.

My Wife and I stopped by Ginger Spa during our recent stay in Hoi An. We both opted for the Vietnamese massage therapy which include a 10 minute steam bath. The quality of the massage was great - they obviously have well trained therapists on hand. The steam bath may not be for everyone as it's (obviously) very hot and quite an enclosed space but that said I enjoyed it after the initial trepidation drained away (along with plenty of sweat)!
The service was excellent and overall the whole experience was very enjoyable. I'd definitely recommend Ginger Spa to friends.

Both has oil massages - they use a mix of coconut oil. Its doesn't have the stickiness / oily feel to the skin after the massage. If you are not that keen, you can always ask the therapist to reduce the usage of the massage oil.
