Morning Small group to Marble Mountains - Am Phu Cave - Monkey Mountain

Exploring exotic scenes of Nature and Human

Marble Moutain is well-known as the most beautiful site not only among Vietnamese but also tourists. It carries an amazing value of combination between many mable and limestone caves.

Monkey Mountain should be on religion/culture lovers’ checklist. Many exciting stories of history and culture based on Buddhism have been told when visiting this place. You could also see the giant statue of Laddy Buddha which set a new record in height.

I had several silk and linen items made at the Cloth Market. I also had some linen & cotton items made at a dress shop on a side street. The Cloth Market items were good but the quality of the sewing and fabric from the dress shop was much better. But the dress shop clothes were more expensive. Depending on what quality you want and how much you want to spend should be considered when having clothes made in Hoi An.

Ha and her team are amazing. The dress I got tailored fitted so perfectly that my partner and I went back to get more clothing tailored. Our plans rapidly changed and we had to leave Vietnam early, but Future was able to make our clothes in record time and get them to us before we left. They fitted perfectly even without a fitting. We will definitely come back next time we are in Hoi An.

I give this place 2 stars as one of my dresses turned out lovely! The remaining 2 dresses along with the communication and delivery process justify the 2 stars. First of all, I suggest you don’t get anything made in Hoi An unless it is a suit or gown. I found similar items to the dresses I ordered on ASOS and other websites for less than what I paid! To start I was approached by, what seemed to be, a lovely local on the street. She helped me with my bike stand and we started chatting. She proceeded to tell me about her “mothers” dress shop nearby and that they could do a good price for me. I go with her to have a look at the shop as I was interested in getting dresses made but did not want to pay the high price that BeBe quoted me. The ladies in the shop were very helpful. They assisted me in picking 3 designs by looking through some catalogues. I then chose the material and we negotiated a good price. They told me to come back at 4pm the following day. As soon as I paid and left, I instantly regretted my decision and felt like something wasn’t right! The next day I went back at 4pm and the shop was closed!!! I could not believe it! Another lady assisted me and called the shop to find out where my dresses were. I spoke with the lady who told me that they would come to my hotel at 6:30pm. I get to my hotel and no sign of them. With the help of our receptionist she rings to find out where they are. They tell her they are only 15 minutes away. 30 minute pass and no sign! I was thinking to myself they aren’t coming! Finally after 1 hour, a lady turns up with my dresses in a plastic bag! I try them on - 1 is lovely, the other 2 are way too big and we arrange to have them taken in. The following day, I phone to ask when I can expect my dresses as we are leaving that evening. They tell me they will deliver them all altered at 1pm. I go back at 2pm to try them on and they are exactly the same as before! Nothing has been altered and they are unwearable! I could not contact them to discuss and considering we were leaving in 3 hours, I knew there was no chance of it being fixed in time. Such a waste of time and money!

Superb work by Quyen. The outfit is beautiful, the prices are really small. Very good advice and a warm welcome, one of the best I have received in Vietnam. Do not hesitate, you will have a good time and leave with a nice outfit!
