    Delicious food; super fun experience
This restaurant is delicious and by far the most fun in Hoi An. From the moment the owner sweeps you inside the cavernous dining area to when you finish the last bit of food, Ba Le Well creates quite the experience. Bahn Xeo is a classic Hoi An food and nobody does it better. Literally mountains of food—including greens, skewered meats, crispy rice pancakes, kimchee, and spring rolls—show up at your table, along with a staff member to show you how to combine it inside soft rice paper. Then the feast begins, seemingly enjoyed by one and all. This was by far our favorite meal in Hoi An. Don’t miss this restaurant. And come hungry.

Incredible Food, Incredible Atmosphere, Incredible Service!
If it was possible to rate 6 stars, I would. I cannot stop thinking about this place! We were recommended here by a local and ended up choosing it for dinner. Once we got there, one of the lovely staff explained how the menu worked & within minutes our table was filled with fresh greens, juicy pork, and crispy Banh Xeo. We were lucky enough to have the owner of the restaurant sit with us and show us how it was meant to be eaten, which we took to instantly & devoured the incredible meal. The only disappointing thing is that we did not discover this incredible gem sooner! I will 110% be back here when I am next in Hoi An

    Great food
We enjoyed Ba Le Well. We had a set menu that included banh xeo (pancakes), with skewered meat (chicken or pork), pickled vegetables and fresh lettuce /mint, wrapped in rice paper. Delicious.

The place is hidden through small street but worth the walk. A lot of people eating with their bare hands to rice wraps, pork and chicken skewers. The peanut sauce is to die for. Very good introduction to local cuisine. The price is reasonable and service is fast.

Cao lau is a delicious local dish made only in this part of Vietnam. Supposedly the water from this well goes into making the noodles. This interesting story was told to us by Son who works at the excellent Old Garden restaurant nearby and in the evening he took us on a short walk to the well. There is a small shrine above the well where people have left offerings. Good story and if you are nearby you might want to see it, but there is no information and nothing else around it.

The food was amazing, so delicious and quality. The location was great, too. If you want to enjoy traditional Vietnamese food, should go there!

The story is that long time ago this used to be the only water source for the whole place. Many people were hired to take water from this well and sell it to others - A historical site of town and of the common people. Nowadays there are many souvenir shops and a lot of Hoi An food are sold here. Just love it!

Had dinner here - it’s a fixed menu and comes with all sorts of fillings- including local specialities - for rice paper rolls. Staff even offer to help show you how to make them ! It’s down a little alley off the major streets but well worth the effort to find and experience local food in a fun atmosphere. I had lots of fun !

This well is believed to have "special waters" that make the food, drinks nd vegetables from Hoi An much tastier than from surrounding towns and water is still drawn from the well for that reason. Of note: there is a small restaurant just around the corner from the actual well that is reported to have excellent street food although we did not eat there.
The well is a curiosity worth seeing + is only a few minutes detour from the usual sites.

This is a bare bones, back street eatery. You sit outside in the beautiful night war,Th and eat food straight off the bbq you pass as you walk in the gate. It’s cheap, cheerful and delicious. The food comes in big lots freshly cooked and make sure you get the lesson on the best way to eat your Banh Xeo (Vietnamese pancake), it is just delicious. Caters to kids, couples, singles and big groups. This is a yummy spot for traditional food.
