The bike guides were knowledgeable and very safe riders. We stopped for photos and to explore a little at numerous places. The pace was perfect, if I wanted to point something out to my husband I could still talk to him on the other bike. The tour was very personable. We loved it. Thanks Hang.

We went on the evening food tour led by Ha Dinh. He was a wealth of folk wisdom and we enjoyed his stories and life philosophy. Great assortment of food mostly from local vendors off the beaten path. Delicious! We got to walk the city and wander side streets to see where locals live and eat. Ha Dinh even accommodated the vegetarian in the group.

we bought 3 bus tickets from saigon to mui ne from cactus tours. they told us, because of the chinese holidays there were no more seats available in any bus to mui ne. but after a while, he found some available seats in a bus from „the sinh tours“ and charged us $55 for the last 3 seats. when we arrived at the bus terminal from „the sinh tours“ we asked for the real price. it was $15 for 3 seats. and they had plenty if free seats. do not trust them. completly rip-off.

We booked the bike tour through our Homestay and paid 500.000 Dong ($25) per person. As we were four people, we paid $100 in total and thought that was already crazy overpriced but as my mother in law was really keen, we signed up and expected great things.
We were quite disappointed though.
We were picked up from our Homestay by a taxi and driven into town to the operators office where we picked up our bikes.
Our guide Ben (or Binh, not sure on the spelling) was a nice enough chap with a big smile. He gave us our bikes and asked us to check them for any problems. We also got a straw hat and two small bottles of water.
The bikes were decent but not amazing, the brakes dangerously bad but manageable as we went through rice fields mostly rather than busy traffic. We started our tour and went to visit an old Confucian temple. At that point we discovered the quality of our guides English skills, which was unfortunately unintelligible. He tried explaining a few things to us but we just couldn't understand him. We kept asking/guessing his sentences and would sometimes get it right but most often not. After 4 or 5 attempts of understanding each bit of information, we would give up if we didn't get it by then. You can imagine that that was quite tiring for a 6 hour tour.
We went to another pagoda/temple, stopped at a rice field to look at rice and take pictures, stopped at a dryish lotus lake, watched ladies dig for peanuts in a small plot and visited a herb village.
Afterwards we went to Ang ban beach, apparently a secret beach but we had been the night before and knew it was very touristy and extremely crowded. While having a drink just before the beach, we tried to explain to Ben, we had already been and didn't want to go again, which took 15 mins to explain due to the limited English. So we left the beach and went in the opposite direction. At the point, my mother in law got a flat tire. Even though we were on a bicycle tour, the guide had no equipment to fix the flat and told us to wait at a junction while he went off to fix it. 20 mins later he was back and we continued.
Off through more rice fields to the river, where we took the boat to go back to Hoi An town. That was nice and refreshing after the 5 hours cycling.
In Hoi An, we went to a local woman's house and had our farmers lunch, which was amazing and very delicious and the best part of the tour.
After that, we cycled a few more metres back to the office and returned our bikes.
Here we met the owner, who kept asking us to leave a review on TA, which we are doing now.
For $100, we expected a shuttle back to the Homestay but no we were just put on the street, not knowing exactly where we were and had to make our own way home (30mins walk) after a 6 hour ride in the heat. Poor service.
All in all, it was ridiculously overpriced for what we got and we could have explored the fields on our own just as well and really should have as the guide didn't add much (or any) value to the ride. I suggest a different tour or just going off on your own.

We had a fantastic four hours with Tony and had an incredible insight into life in Hoi An. The tour catered well to our 15, 13 and 8 year old children and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. The 13 and 8 year old have decided it was the highlight of our Vietnam holiday. We would highly recommend this tour.

We selected the Water Concerto tour that was led by Tony. It was fabulous and this was a lot down to Tony. He took us to Pagoda's, vegetable farms, the countryside, An Bang Beach, shrimp farms, river boat ride and to top it off a 4 course lunch at a family home.
Tony gave us a huge amount of insight into Hoi An and Vietnamese culture. Explained about different herbs, flowers and trees to us.
We just loved our trip and can't recommend highly enough that you go!!!
Thanks Tony!!!

I took our two 11 year olds on the aquatic cycle tour, cycling around rice fields, shrimp farms, herb gardens and the beach. We also visited a school and temple. Whilst Ken our tour guide doesn't have very good English it was made up for by his total enthusiasm. He looked after the girls when we had to cycle on some of the roads with manic motorcycles and was keen to share his knowledge of Vietnam with us. We also stopped for a swim at the beach. The tour finished eating lunch in someone's house. It was the best lunch we ate in Vietnam. It was a very good tour. Carry sunscreen with you as our arms and hands got quite burnt despite applying it in the morning.

There are so many tours to choose from in Hoi An, but this one had the most arts and crafts so it stood out. Everything about this was easy. We are travelling with a 3 year old and a 7 year old. Our guide made them feel welcome and part of the experience. The ride was easy even though it covered a fair distance. The bikes are the usual vietnam fixies and ours had seats on the back that were basic, but absolutely fine.
We went to some great places, cycled around beautiful back country roads and our guide (Hang) was a pleasure to travel with. Many of the other tours we have been on had guides that were either way too hard line or overly enthusiastic or try hard, but Hang hit the mark. Natural, easy going and knowledgable about her local community. The absolute highlight was at the end when we went to her friends home for lunch, the food was so fresh and it was very rare to be able to experience lunch with a local family.
I would highly recommend this experience. Especially if you have kids.
