We checked out Blue Coral Diving / Hoi An Diving Center before travelling to Vietnam to fill a Rest Day on a tour of Vietnam & Cambodia that would 'be a rest!' It was easy to find their office in Hoi An the day before to book our tickets. We are so pleased we spent the day with Steve and the team. Everything worked well - punctual pick up from our hotel and transfer to the jetty followed by an enjoyable hour long cruise to the Cham Islands where we changed to a smaller boat. We snorkelled at two diving sites off a couple of the smaller islands for about two hours and saw some wonderful corals, incredible lilac coloured starfish and swam with many fish - including Clown Fish, Parrot Fish and Angel Fish. The included lunch on the beach went down very well and we had a chance to explore and chill on the beach before returning to Hoi An.
We would highly recommend this experience - it was tremendous value for money and enabled us to see another side of Vietnam below the waves. Steve and the Dive team ensured we had a Great Day. With more time I would have been interested in trying out scuba diving with Blue Coral given what we had seen whilst snorkelling.

I cannot rate Steve and his team highly enough. After two years of strict lockdown it's a testament to his commitment to the business that they have invested in brand new diving equipment in anticipation of the country reopening fully.
I went as part of a group of 4 people. We were picked up from our hotel, brought to the dock and then dropped back in the evening which made everything effortless. I went on 2 fun dives while my girlfriend and our friends went snorkeling to two different sites off Cham Island. Having not dived in more than 2 years, our guide Pháp took his time to run through all safety guidelines clearly and to answer any questions we had. I could see that this was greatly appreciated by some of the other divers.
It was such an amazing day. Another highlight was the delicious lunch with a cold beer on Cham Island which is only recently accessible to the public.
If you're interested in a boat tour with some diving or snorkeling in Hoi An, do not look beyond Steve and his crew in Blue Coral. 5 stars 🌟

I am reviewing the Dive Centre not the visibility. I was picked up on time at my hotel and taken to the boat, which was well equipped. I was given a very good briefing by Kim our dive leader and we could relax on deck chairs on the top deck before diving. There is free tea coffee & water on board. There is also a large sign to say that computers are available for rent at 30,000VND (£10) a day. Kim was very professional in and out of the water and Steve the owner gave a talk about the boat and procedures at the start and end of the trip. The visibility was not great but if you enjoy diving you make the best of it and do not blame the Dive Centre. We had 1.5 hours to have lunch and relax on an island before heading back to port. All in all a very enjoyable and well organised day. Picked up at 8am and back at hotel at 4.15pm. This is my 2nd year diving with Blue Coral.

Loved the day diving despite the cloudy weather. Sea visibility was good and the coral was amazing (thanks to 2.5 years of lack of tourism #covid). Few marine fauna though but we saw a lobster, tigerfish, ...
Steve gave a very good impression and we felt like he's both honest and passionate of his work.
Only negative point was the oppressing market where we were dropped off initially.
Food lunch was good.
We recommend it !

Great older style boat rather than a speed boat , open air nice and chilled trip over to Cham for snorkeling and lunch . Steve and the boys were fantastic, great service and followed all the safety requirements.
Plenty of time to snorkel at 2 different sites which had a heap of different fish and coral then a Vietnamese lunch on the beach , pick up and drop off service was spot on .Highly recommend.

Snorkelling out. Pick up and drop off by minibus system. 2 dive spots in the morning, 1 hour each. Beautiful multicolored backgrounds, with a beautiful diversity of well preserved corals. Lunch in a restaurant on the main island, then swim and return around 3:30 pm.
In the end a pleasant outing, well supervised by very friendly staff. However, it is very expensive, much more expensive than what we have been able to do in Thailand or Indonesia.

Had gone diving with Blue's Coral dive centre to Chams Island in September 2022. Had an incredible experience - everything was taken good care of from start to end.
Had great fun dives and my friend experienced the try dives (she can't swim) and came back very confident, wanting more.
Visibility was good, boat was clean, great lunch arranged for at the island (many vegetarian options too!)
Steve was very accommodating with all our questions and overall, we had a brilliant experience!!

Highly recommend! Blue Coral is a very professional company with an excellent safety record, and it shows in the professional attitude they portray. I went on two discover scuba diving outings with Mark totalling 4 dives. An excellent experience! Open water certification next!

The atmosphere on the ship is nice and the instructors are all friendly.
It was fun and great! There are instructors who can speak Korean, so communicating is no problem, and the instructors are there right away as soon as you enter the water, so even if it's your first time, there's no need to be scared!! There is a fee for video shooting, but the quality was good and I was able to receive it right away on the same day. This is Gingchu!!!

Blue Coral Divers are a buoyant team of passionate dive buddies that take enormous joy in unlocking the hidden wonders of 7/10 of our hidden world to anyone curious enough to take the plunge and descend below the surface.
At the pinicle of their team driven mission is your safety which is highly visible from the moment contact is established to when you depart. The dive sites, are as you might expect incredible and amongst the best in the world. The dive training, guiding and marshalling are high end. The boat is comfortably adequate and soon to become a fleet. The kit is well maintained but checked and double checked prior to each dive by dive guides, trainers and crew onboard.
Our 11 year old twins learned to dive here. There was no end to the passion for diving and all things marine the experience has permanently coded onto their DNA. As a senior diver, it was refreshing to have that long overdue dive void of any care beyond relaxing and enjoying the experience with my incredibly well trained and confident new twin buddies.

Hi, I can swim, but I have never scuba dived before? We have a full day to devote to Cham Islands and was wondering if we would be able to be trained in that time so we could a scuba dive? Also, What is the waters like if we come around August 1-August 2? Thanks in advance for your time.

Hey, I don't work for the company but I am a certified diver and did a days diving with them last week. 1 day is not enough time to get certified (ie complete PADI open water) but you can absolutely do two try dives with them in a day. Lots to see in shallow water so is the perfect place to do a try dive. The staff are very professional and helpful. Hope this helps!
