It was such an amazing tour with ân and nghiêp. It was beautiful. We danced , we laughed, we saw crabs and fishes. I recommend them so much . Do not hesitate , book with them .

Despite the heat, well worth going on the coconut boat tours. Its fun and there are dazzling displays of skills on the boat by certain younger male boaters, and fishermen. But make sure you wear a hat.

You should book this tour for a very good price in a very friendly atmosphere. Within one hour you will do crab fishing, watch boat dancing and fishing techniques. The prices are really low so everyone should do this! It was a great experience and cool for some instagram photos to show my friends in Europe about it.

Had a really pleasant time on this tour. An runs the business with her heart and soul. We had a really pleasant time. We were given bottles of chilled water both before and after the tour and were piloted for over an hour on a little basket boat Terrific value tour costing only 200 VN Dong or $10 for two people. I definitely recommend this somewhat unique experience.

Instead of booking via tour operator, after getting some info searching internet, we decided to book directly with Coconut Ring Tour.
Rates about Usd5 per person.
Owner also assisted to arrange 2 ways pickup with a cheaper rate than grab taxi.
The boat ride is pleasant and they offer to take photos for us too.
Except for the entertainment show with loud music, which seems to cater for Korean Tourists.
Highly recommended

This is a bit of a tourist classic in Hoi An. We wanted to get out on the river.
We took a taxi, it’s a little outside of town and looked too far for bikes, and we’d be cycling in the midday heat.
The lady who was steering our coracle / basket boat had very little English. We went out through the coconut plants, and could hear what sounded like a disco - which felt at odds with the setting. I was personally utterly distracted by the plastic waste everywhere. It’s all over Hoi An, sewing it in the river really brought it home.
In the main river we saw a traditional fishing boat doing a net throwing demo. We then went over to the ‘disco’ - where a young man was spinning his basket boat like a whirlitzer to the time of ‘gangam style’. A tad incongruous, but undeniably skilful.
We were taken to a spot to get off and take photos, and then caught a crab from a line, which we put back.
On the way back, the lady in our boat made us little flowers and a crown from coconut leaves.
Hats and life jackets were provided.
All in all, a good trip, ruined for me by the pollution.

Took wife and 13yr old on coconut tour. Beware cabs and others will be looking for commissions so price can be outrageous when you first arrive. We enjoyed the change of scene, caught a crab or two and had a few giggles watching the dancing and amazing skills of the coconut fisherman. Wife and son enjoyed the grasshoppers and other things made on the spot out of the reeds.

Amazing n’ interesting boating including listening Vietnamese songs, fishing, catching crabs and lot lot of the fun stuff. Something you should try when you come to Hoi An.
