Viet was our tour guide and we are very happy to have him! He speaks very well, hence communication was easy. The tour was so fun! We got hands on many authentic Vietnamese activities, on land and on sea. It is a memorable experience and definitely a highlight in my time in Hoi An! I will definitely recommend this as a MUST DO in your trip here

We really enjoyed the day with Jack Tran tours. It was very complete in terms of experiences. The kids had fun with the buffalo, planting groceries and fishing with nets. They also liked the bamboo boats ride. The food at the boat was amazing.

We’re family travel vloggers from California visiting Vietnam for first time. For a more detailed review with videos visit my IG @momduty. Jack Tran tour is the #1 tour in Hoi An for a reason. Wow! We had the BEST time!!! It all started when we got picked up by the nicest shuttle bus ever. It was air-conditioned and the seats had massaging options! What?! Plus, Helen greeted us with such wonderful energy. Always smiling and laughing behind her mask. Love her so much! She made our tour so memorable:) We did the Farming & Fishing Life 6 hour Tour. It included biking, visiting Tra Que Village, water buffalo riding on land (not in water), net fishing, riding a basket boat, learning about the culture, Gangnam Style show and an incredible dinner on their main long boat. You can either choose the 8am or 2pm time slot. We choose the 2pm time because we wanted to be on the river watching the sunset. Plus, it wasn’t hot and we had a nice breeze. I highly recommend the 2pm time slot, especially with kids. We had perfect weather! Just make sure to put on sunscreen, wear a hat and bring water. They provided us with a water bottle for each of us but glad we brought more. It was non-stop fun for our family of 4. My kids are 10 year old twins and this tour was perfect for their age. They even rode their own bikes. But if your child doesn’t feel comfortable riding on their own bike, they can sit on the back of the adult’s bike. It has a padded seat. They also have bikes with toddler/baby seats on the back. And yes, they have helmets for adults and kids! Our tour started of biking through the peaceful rice fields, then we stopped by the village to farm, then rode the sweetest water buffalo on a shady dirt road with beautiful palm trees, then continued to ride our bikes to the main long boat. They met us up there on the river with fruits, snacks and drinks. There’s also a very clean bathroom on the long boat which is very convenient. We then stopped in the middle of the river and the team BAC TU, TUAN, TAM (including the captain) put on a fun dancing Gangnam Style show for us in their basket boats!!! So much great energy!!! It was awesome having a party in the middle of the river!!!!!! We then split up into our own basket boats and cruised through the coconut jungles while the main boat waited for us on the river. After riding the basket boats, we went back on the main long boat and met fishermen. We went net fishing which was the highlight of our tour! They even let you throw the net to catch some fish. After that, we all put on costumes and learned to dance and sing Vietnam style! We ended the night with more net fishing and a dinner on the boat with beer and juice! The dinner was incredible! They cooked it fresh on the boat! We had snapper, white rice, chicken, bok choy, beef, french fries, pineapple and DIY spring rolls. Those were my favorite because we rolled them up ourselves with all the toppings, especially the vegetables and herbs we picked fresh from farming. Delicious! Thank you so much for the awesome energy, the special memories and the one-of-a-kind experiences! We will never forget it! Thank you HELEN, BAC TU, TUAN, TAM!!!!!! I highly recommend this tour!!! Do it when you’re in Hoi An! You won’t regret it.
