You can buy a ticket for 60k Dong which gives you entry to 5 attractions. This is one of the ones we visited. It's well worth the price. Local folk presenting a show which includes dance, music and singing. Just remember they are not professionals. The performance on the old "Dan Bau" was outstanding

We were a little late to catch the show but we saw the last 10 minutes. At the time there were only 2 performances each day and it was lovely to see the performers sing, dance and play their musical instruments. The theater seats are upstairs and from here you get a good view of the stage downstairs. Even all the singing is in Vietnamese it is still enjoyable to watch.

I saw the performance because it was part of my package tour of Hội An.
It's a cute little theatre venue in the center of the town.
It started at 4pm if I remember well and lasted about half an hour.
Not too long a show and yet you get a taste of Vietnamese culture: music and dance.
It was entertaining.

A nice little theater set up for this half hour traditional dance and music show. Great use of one of the old town 5 tickets. Gives a nice impression of the culture (and having seen dances in Cambodia,Thailand and Indonesia) and connection to the other South Asian cultures. Could explain a bit more about the dances and music.

This was such a wonderful show of dance and music. You would never even know it’s here but well worth the time. Plus it’s cool inside.

We used one of our 5 Old town tickets to see the dance and music show in the afternoon and it was really worth the visit!
It was great to see some of the traditional dances and songs performed by a young group of people!
Also the theatre was climatised and had very comfy chairs.

I didn’t take any photo during the show. It was a small theatre and a small stage but the show was so beautiful. It took about half and hour for the whole show and ticket price was cheap. I’d like to recommend ALL you guys visit this place. The music gonna make your day brighter!

I don't get people's reviews suggesting this is a tourist trap, of all the things in Hoi An to see I feel this is one of the most pleasant and definitely after the main few sites the best use of one of your 5 old town tickets.

The shows lasts around half an hour and is an enjoyable showcase of Vietnamese music, dancing and what I think was some sort of opera...? All in all very enjoyable, a nice escape from the heat and shop venders trying to flog you things and basically costs nothing as part of the old town package. The auditorium is air-conditioned so on a hot day is a very pleasant break.

We visite this as a part of our five-places tourists ticket and went out laughing out loud.

The music was played well but it was more like a circus for morons than a showcase of tradition.

Many colorful lights, very ugly sparkling costumes and mainly the faces of “artists” bored to death and disgused by themselfs ans they were monkeysfor the fun of the crowd. You can really skip this.
