This was not the tour we had wanted to do and we were a little apprehensive about the boating and cycling, being not so fit. It was though by far one of the best mornings we spent in Hoi An. A big call but the team deserve it we had a blast everyone was helpful, fun and very professional. The food was great too I would do this again anytime. Thank you so much Ms An and the team for a great time.

Firstly we had transport on a nice bus to Central Market, Remee our tour guide could not be more helpful. He explained to us about different food and had great English, next we went on a traditional basket boat along the river after cycling back to our cooking class. We had such a lovely time here, the staff we very lovely and helpful. We made around 4 dishes. To top off our day, it was my nieces birthday and they organised and banner, cake and party sparklers. It really was the icing on the cake. This is by far the best tour I’ve ever had!

So much more than a cooking class. Picked up at hotel by Tina who proved to be knowledgeable and very informative about all aspects of the local area. Took us round the market and helped us buy some ingredients to recreate the dishes back home (optional). Then lovely boat trip with Tina pointing out items of interest. Stopped at a little village on the river, had a go at casting a net and tried to catch some little crabs in the basket boat. Lovely flat bike ride (10 mins) through village to restaurant kitchen where ingredients were mostly prepped and we got great instruction on seasoning, cooking and assembling 5 dishes. All included in price. Pay for drinks separately. Finally taxi ride back to hotel. Absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish.

Very authentic great food because we cooked it.... Lol... Tina was very informative. Loved the 84 year old Fisher woman.. Fun on round tubs.. Caught 3 mud crabs... And threw them back... She made us rings and hats out of coconut leaf... All in all was good morning out.
Highly recommend and ask for Tina

So much more than a cooking class! The trip through the markets, boat ride to the coconut village and crab fishing were all excellent. Tina organised everything to suit our needs and was friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble! The food we prepared was delicious and it was great to get into the countryside and experience rural life for the morning. I would highly recommend this experience.

Amazing! Turned out to be the only two on the morning tour. The initial stage of our tour involved a walk through the local market to get some produce for our cooking class, then a ferry ride to Can Thamh, an amazing basket boat adventure through coconut palms where we fished and caught some crabs. The boat people were very creative with coconut leaves. Then we cycled to the cookery class. A chef guided us through the preparation on how to use an array of spices herbs and oils to bring out amazing flavours. My husband does not cook but he loved the cooking experience and was then blown away by the food we produced. As a suggestion don't eat too much before you go. Remi was a very good guide. The tour was great value. We would do this again in a flash.

The people were lovely but they didn’t teach us much. It was more of a demonstration. Nothing was explained we just had to follow what the chef was doing and if we did it wrong an assistant just stepped in and did it for us. We are both keen cooks so we were disappointed we weren’t given the chance to learn more. The market tour was more of a walk through (we had already done this the day before).
We didn’t do the basket boat ride either because it was packed with so many tourists! Seemed pointless for a cooking class.
The class itself is in a gorgeous outdoor kitchen and the staff were nice. I couldn’t help but feel they were there to make money from tourists rather than have any passion for teaching.

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. What a great way to explore the local culture, life and cuisine! Our tour guide Hiep was very knowledgeable, friendly and fun. She spoke English perfectly. The cooking class itself was fantastic - you prepare everything from scratch, but it's all easy to follow as the instructor shows everything step by step. The food came out super tasty!

This trip is fantastic so well thought out we went to the market and got to hear allabout the local traditions and local food Tina our wonderful guide gave us time to get what we wanted and explained everything, then we went via a boat to the coconut forest and crab fishing which was stunning and really good fun in the round fishing boats! We then cycled to the cooking class where we enjoyed learning how to cook delicious food and even though half of our party are gluten free vegetarians and were catered for perfectly a super trip we loved it! Tina
is a star!
